Mesprit in #1 is pretty surprising, tbh I was expecting Rotom-s just because of how good he is. He still keeps Gorebyss in check and a fast volt switch is just too mighty.

It's pretty much what I expected, though I wasn't expecting Vileplume at #13.

Hmm, no suprises in the top. But, there's so much random stuff around top 60. Like Vileplume, Muk, Raticate.

My baby Armaldo... Under Wartortle in usage.

Base 130 Atk, awesome STABs, actually has Leftovers recovery, and underrated defenses... Under complete set-up fodder for anything with Substitute -cries-

I was mostly expecting similar usage, but was indeed surprised by the Vileplume usage in higher ladder. I thought it'd peak, but not that much.

really no surprises to me, except that Garbador surpasses Cacturne in usage ._.

Hey guys wanna see something cool? Metang is #53 in usage, just making the 3.41% cutoff for being "in NU". Guess where it is on people whose teams are over 1200 rating! Nowhere. Not one use.

Also Haunter at #23 normal usage is kind of silly since SubSplit kind of wrecks defensive and offensive teams that don't have Cinccino.

Vileplume at #60 normal but #13 of the 1200 is pretty telling... more people need (or don't need) to use this. It's actually good!

Bold indicates a useful mon from my experience, and torture.

I'm being dead serious, take these guys seriously when you see them. Weezing, Musharna, Amoonguss, Carracosta and Golbat all are great walls in their own rights, each with their perks and honestly I'm disappointed in their usage... I feel incredibly lazy atm, and the only thing I can say beyond this is that Throh and Ursaring are no jokes. Ursaring is called the village wrecker for a reason and Throh is a pain in the ass when it sets up multiple Bulk Ups and happily spams storm throw / circle throw without worry of getting KO'd; it is no joke.

Huh, I thought I was the only one using Vileplume but, apparently not :D Most of these stats were predictable though.

Altaria at 25 is a bit of a shock, seeing as once it sets up it's nigh unstoppable, especially as Klingklang LEFT.

Kanga at 2% is dissapointing. Guess I'll have to ladder more and show what it can do.

Samuwott has jumped all the way to #16. No big surprise there.

Also, Unfezant is below Farfetch'd in useage. I know Unfezant is outclassed by Swellow and the likes, but honestly, it's better than Pidgeot and Farfetch'd.

BUT Farfetch'd is a much better troll, and since you would never use any of the three in your right mind Farfetch'd is the better mon.

Most stats were predecible, but some has surprised me (as I haven't seen things like vileplume or altaria at all), not saying is bad but didn't expect them so high.

Altaria as sweeper is pretty disappointing, because it's not that easy to set up (ok, beating magmortar is nice) and her offensive stats are quite average even for NU standards. I have found Fraxure better ... Btw, I don't understand why the fuck people use Screens Eviolite Metang it sucks so much... I will give you using a bulky eviolite set but screens is so newbish... -.-'' I'm gonna test an offensive Metang (cos im way cool) and I will consider then if Metang is really worth using.

I don't get why you say combusken is not worth using Steamroll, is way cool as a sweeper and it wrecks a lot of common cores.

That's only lead usage, which is pretty much useless this gen.

In general usage:

a bunch of pokes im surprised arnt used more. Haunter being that low surprised me because i see it all over the place. Also not surprised to see ninjask and marowak so close together, just since they pair so well together. IDK what people are using on their glalies, spikes probably, i just know i use specs cuz its more fun and isnt that bad. The biggest surprises for me were why arbok, and especially fraxure, were that high. because simply arbok is outclassed by seviper in almost every way in my eyes, other than speed probably. Electabuzz, pinsir, torterra, and kangaskhan need more love. Electabuzz can troll with volt switch, or attack mono-special, or go mixed even. Pinsir is, and always has been, a big threat in nu with solid speed and power. Outspeeding most of the tier with a choice scarf. People use torterra these days to set up rocks, but good ol' rock polish torterra is still a monster provided your opponant doesnt have ice shard. And then kangaskhan can be a great check to haunter with stab, scrappy fake out and double hit to break subs. You can run 3 normal type moves and say, drain punch for presumably nuetral coverage. Finally, marowak, especially when paired with ninjask, is a monster, especially with thick club attatched. With a few passed speed boosts, marowak can cut thru an opponants team like a knife thru hot butter.

Arbok actually outclasses Seviper with Gunk Shot, Intimidate and bulk.

Torterra should be way higher.

Kangaskhan is really good; I've been meaning to try SubPunch out for a while, actually.

Sub Marowak is actually really cool outside of a TR / BP team; switch in on Regirock, and then something dies.

Looking forward to Ludicolo (potentially) dropping down, the tier needs more bulky Waters and Grass types, and it looks like a pretty good response to Gorebyss. Crustle dropping down could be interesting, it has great neutral coverage, Shell Smash and Sturdy, which could make it a very potent attacking lead.
