Welcome to the Orange Islands, the Pokemon subforum where the stick up Smogon's collective hindquarters is loosened up just a little bit!

This forum is for discussion of anything in the Pokemon Games that does not relate to competitive play against other humans. This includes everything from stuff that is close to competitive Pokemon but involves battling the AI like Battle Subway to all of the various spin-off games such as the best game in the series, Pokemon Snap, the second best game in the series, Pokemon Puzzle League, and also other games like Pokemon Rumble. Discussion of the anime and manga are also allowed. But really you should just chat about Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Puzzle League.

THERE ARE SOME RULES though:

• The rules from the rest of the site still apply. This is not a lawless wasteland like a forum. Please don't flame people because they took bad pictures of Meowth. It's not their fault they play the PokeFlute like evan's band plays music OK.
• Keep your competitive BS out of here. We have like 387 forums dedicated to competitive battling. This is not the subforum for tiering or metagames (though I suspect we'll still be anally competitive at strange Pokemon spinoffs together)! Friendly competition like mini-tournaments and leaderboards is fine, but don't involve your topics with metagame competition. This is a discussion forum, not a metagame forum.
• This is also not a subforum for the Trading Card Game (except the GBC version!)
• Additionally, let's keep the discussion to games / Pokemon / abilities / moves / items / etc. that are available or announced. We don't need this forum to be clogged with wishlist threads.
• DEAR GOD you still can't talk about ROMs or Emulators here. This includes hacks. I swear I will personally infract you for so many points if you try this you'll probably be banned on Serebii and PokeBeach, too.

Everything else is probably fine here! Rules are for losers, anyway. Let's not use gay/lesbian/"carpetmuncher"/"dyke"/WHATEVER in a disrespectful way. You know what I mean. There's connotations to that use and you all know it!
