Hey guys, we'll be hosting second edition of this tournament, advocating the #Pokemon IRC channel. The idea of this tournament was thought out by Aldaron. The main idea of this tournament is to encourage fairness, where the problem of scouting and counter-teaming are suppressed, and at the same time, encourage users to take part of our community Pokemon IRC channel. The idea of this tournament is very straightforward, there will be a compilation of 20 standard BW2 OU teams; all submitted by #Pokemon channel users. All the teams will be good, meaning we will exclude any team that we find uncompetitive or just doesn't meet the standards of a decent, well-to-do team.

Before Round 1 of the tournament begins, a Pre-Round will be held. The pre-round is the round where we will be compiling up the list of 20 teams. The teams we choose will be chosen from users of the #Pokemon channel. If you wish to submit one of your teams, you must be there during the Pre-Round. We will be discussing all viable teams that should and will be added to the list. So you must also take part of the discussions on #Pokemon channel if you wish to take part in this tournament. You will be given credit for submitting teams, if your team is good enough to make it to the list.

Once we have compiled a list of the 20 teams, every round, you will be provided with two teams randomly chosen from the pool of 20 teams. The two teams provided to you will be publicly displayed on the OP of the thread. You must decide which team to you wish to use against your opponent (who also knows your two given teams). Obviously you would have to decide on which the best one for you to use. So you must also take part of the discussions on the #Pokemon channel, to decide which team is best for you to use.

Getting involved with the discussions in #Pokemon is very crucial for this tournament. So it is highly recommended that you do take part in our IRC channel. We will also be keeping track of your activity on the channel, meaning if you're never on, there's a chance that your opponent will get the activity win over you. If you're not sure how to get on the channel, check this thread, it will give you all the information you need to get on the channel.

• Sleep Clause
• Species Clause
• Soul Dew Clause
• Timed Battle
• Team Preview
• Standard BW2 OU
• Best of one, single elimination.
• BW2 move tutor moves are allowed.
• All released berries are allowed except Micle and Custap.
• Soul Dew is banned on Latios and Latias.
• Keldeo, Landorus-T, Genesect, Gothitelle, Tornadus-T, and Thundurus-T are all allowed.
• Darkrai, Shaymin-S, Deoxys, Deoxys-A, Manaphy, Blaziken, Garchomp, Excadrill, Thundurus, Kyruem-B, and Kyruem-W are all banned.
• Battles should take place on Pokemon Showdown! unless both players agree otherwise.

Logs should be saved on the basis that a dispute occurs for whatever reason, and evidence is required. You do NOT need to send you battle log, only if you are asked to.

Just to clarify, there will be a #Pokemon reward both for the winner and for the user whose team has the most wins at the end of the tournament...so try your best and submit good teams!

I sent a VM to kael something like a week ago and didn't get an answer to this day.

I VMed xtra last Sunday and never got a response, and also VMed him today while he was online and got no response. Activity post.
