PokéBuilder - iPhone / iPad / iPod Pokesav/Pokegen App
 

Hi all,

We are just putting the finishing touches on our new iPhone app.

It allows you to edit Pokémon in a similar fashion to Pokegen and then upload directly to the Pokéstation.net GTS server.

What is perhaps even more interesting is a feature we've included called 'Smogon Import', this allows you to browse to Smogon.com in a web interface and then import any Pokémon set straight into the app, ready for instant upload to GTS. You can see a little preview video below:

Could you make an Android version? My iDevice can't run it because of its age. I still bought it to show my support.

We have an Android version in the works at the moment. It has turned out a little more complicated to port than we originally imagined. If you DM us your email address we will add it to our list (which will only be used to notify you when the Android version is ready).

bit of a noob when it comes to pokesav? how does this work exactly, if i buy it does it have like a tutorial of some kind?

Some requests/suggestions
 

Hi! I love this app so far, really helps me since I don't have a computer to use PokeGen on. Totally worth the 2 bucks.

However, I have some suggestions/things I wanna see in an update for it. I'd like the option to nickname the Pokemon, and also to choose its OT and location of capture/finding/etc, just like in PokeGen itself. I'd really love to see any of that done, if possible. It'd really make the app perfect. If you can't, or won't, that's alright too. I just wanted to get my word out.

Thank you for your suggestions, we will try to implement these requests in a future update. For now, there's actually a hidden trick to rename your Pokémon - try hitting "name" at the top next to DNS address ;)

I downloaded this app like a week ago and I really love it!
However, I just updated it and tried to upload some Pokémon and I don't know what's wrong but I keep getting Bad Eggs! I have put them in my pc and I hope they won't mess up my game..

I'm trying this on white 2 with a dsi and everytime I make a pokemon and it says that it was sent I can never get it in my game. Could someone please give me an exact step by step on how to do this? Ps when you change the primary Dns, there are three blanks, and If you put in 34, like it says to, it changes to 034, but if you put it as 340, it changes to 255, so that might be the problem.

034 would be the correct number to put in. Also, I would follow the exact steps in this video.

Just wanted to say that I was really surprised with this app; it actually works, and is good too. It does take some setting up, but it's capable of amazing stuff once it is. It makes it so much easier to get good pokemon now! (Action Replay Codes tend to take a while to get and use.)

Actually, I have a question regarding abilities and evolution. I noticed that no matter what ability you give a pokemon through this app, if it evolves it always has it's Dream World ability. Now, I understand that non-natural abilities are usually replaced by proper ones upon evolution, but is there any way to set it so that it has it's normal abilities by default? It's just weird for some pokemon that prefer their regular abilities.

I had the same issue as False Sense. I've been using it on my in-game run through so I don't kill myself RNG-ing everything or catching a box full of Adamant Joltik. I've tried changing a few things, but every time once that evolution happens it has the DW ability.

The big question is, is this legal? I don't care about passing checks on the GBU, I just want to know if I could do this for VGC instead of wasting time RNG

This is not legal for VGC.
