IMPORTANT: Since I forgot to mention that matches are best of three in the rules, please let me know if you played your opponent in a match that was not best of three. If one of the opponents desires a rematch using best of three then try to get it done if time allows and contact me. I apologize for the inconvienence caused by this negligence.

After a successful doubles tourney for Black and White and the advent of the Smogon Doubles metagame, this tournament aims to explore double battles in the B&W2 metagame outside of VGC rules. This tournament will follow the rules of Standard Doubles as seen here: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3476469

RULES:

• Single elimination format
• Battles are to be played on Pokemon Showdown. Battles may be played on Pokemon Online if both parties agree beforehand.
• All battles must be conducted in a 6v6 doubles format.
• BATTLES ARE TO BE BEST OF THREE
• This is a 5th Generation tournament.
• Pokemon default level 100 instead of level 50
• Sleep Clause ON

• OHKO Clause ON
• Evasion Clause ON
• Soul Dew Clause ON
• Moody Clause ON

• There will be 32, 64, or 128 participants depending on the number of signups.
• First come first serve for the first 62.5% players with the remaining players randomized.
