CAP 8 - Final Product
CAP 8 is (almost) officially over. Before we go on, I'd like to give a big thanks to CyzirVisheen, Magmortified and Deck Knight.
First poll began: Apr 9th, 2009, 4:21:24 PM Last poll ended: May 24th, 2009, 2:35:17 PM This CAP took 6 weeks and 3 days to complete. (Slow and steady wins the race, Mag!) Name: Cyclohm http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...ydrafinal2.png http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/2098/sprite.png Quote:

Wonderful CAP everyone, we did a great job despite our awful start!
As for the height and weight. I would say 5"4 for the cloud, a rather arbitrary number I came up with, but I don't think of this cloud as something extremely large in size. For weight I suggest about 95 LBS, he's a cloud, how heavy do you expect him to be? I would also agree that two evos sound about right. |
Good job cyber, you turned something that originally was eating you away into a fairly decent project. I commend you for that.
|
hmm weight should be around 175-200 lbs, because its clouds which are lighter than normal. And i also think it should be relative to arcanine in terms of height. So height should be around 6'1". Tell me what you think. And i think 2 evos are about right, sprouting 1 head every evo.
Edit: It seems people like a lighter version so i say max of 150, with my weight bieng 130.7 lbs. k after some more research heres my finals: Weight:130.7 Lbs Height: 4'9" |
For weight, I'd say 129.5 lbs (Drifblim + Salamence/2 = ) and for height, 4'5" (C'mon, salamence is only 4'11" and I can't imagine it being more imposing than salamence =/)
Edit: Also, agreeing with 2 pre-evos, and congrats to DK for pretty much commanding this CAP >> |
I always saw Cyclohm as almost insubstantial. Something really light, around 50 lbs, would be great. And yeah, agreeing with the 5'4'' from earlier, and two pre-evolutions.
|
Water is heavier than you give it credit for lol, somewhere around 4'6" and 120 Pounds makes sense to me. Also, two prevos.
Through all the bumps, I'd like to congratulate Cyber/Cyzir on a job well done (even though it's not pink). |
Congrats to everyone who helped out.
Agreeing with Atyroki's 130 lb. / 4'5''. |
142.3, 100 BP Grass Knot / Low kick and I agree with Atyroki for the height
One Pre-Evo |
very good job on this cap.
As for the weight/height I'm thinking he should be 5'8" or something like that, around the average height of a full grown male. At first I thought this thing would be very light but after doing a bit of research (google :D) it turns out clouds are a lot heavier than I thought. According to this website they can even weigh up to 550 tons. The source of the website seems to be legitimate enough, but obviously having a million pound pokemon is a little unrealistic so I think it should be somewhere around 200Ibs. Two pre evos sounds good Edit: whoa mence is short but it feels kinda weird thinking about this thing being shorter than me... |
Yeeah, I'm really not digging any height that makes this thing like... a foot taller than salamence .__.
|
Well honestly a cloud is a lot bigger than Salamence can ever be. I still think 5"4 would be pretty good. I mean it's big, but not TOO big.
|
I can see a pre-evo with fewer heads, ala Doduo or Diglett.
Another idea, we could dispense with the cloud (or make it much less cloudy) and lose the dragon type, sort of like Altaria. The pre-evo could be Mono-electric, normal-electric, or flying-electric, just to give some ideas. I suppose it doesn't really matter though, unless we make a CAP little cup. |
Hmmm.
Tough one. I'd say: Height: 4'2" Weight: 92.4 lbs C'mon, he's a cloud. He can't be very heavy. I'd say 14 pre-evos if it wasnt ridiculous, but I think that 2 would be good enough. |
Height: 4'6"
Weight: 90 lbs 1 pre-evo. |
Agreeing with Atryoki for...
Weight: 129.5 lbs Height: 4'5" But I'm putting my support for 1 Pre-Evolution (like other three headed pokémon Dugtrio and Dodrio.) |
I would support around 130 lbs but a larger size, like Gen's 5"4.
|
Why do we constantly make our CAP Pokemon shorter than some in-game trainer? You got a decent amount of Pokemon that are bigger than the trainer so why can't it be around 5' to 7' feet tall? I say 6' 5" should be it's height and between 50 and 110 pounds.
BTW, 550 tons....holy shit D: |
Height- 6 ft.
Weight- 120 lb. 2 pre-evos |
Welldone CAP to everyone who contributed! This turned out to be a decent CAP and I hope to see more in the future. Now for the weight, height and pre evo...
Weight: 132 lbs Height: 5'2'' For Pre evo I think it should get at least 1 or no pre evo. For the name possibly Dragohm or Nimbus(yes previous submissions) or probably something simple like Voltiogon... Just my suggestions ... EDIT: I like GT's suggestion, supporting 6 - 6'11'' ft. |
Seems pretty fantastic. I went ahead and got on to the CAP server only because I wanted to use this Pokemon.
|
Been looking at the heights of some other dragons. Salamence is just short of 5', whereas Garchomp is a bit over 6', and I can imagine this pokemon being about the same size as Garchomp.
Height: 6' 04" Weight: 220 lbs Prevos: 1 (ideally a smaller, two-headed version of this creature, similar to the Doduo and Dodrio line - when will Game Freak make Doquado?). |
Two Pre - one head per evo!
|
New weight :
Weight : 196.6 LBS The weight is Dragonite's weight - Altaria's. |
Definitely should be over six feet tall. This is basically a hydra, it should be massive and hulking. It's a thunderstorm AND a dragon. Not some measly little puff ball. I also think it should weigh more than some of the suggestions here - Grass Knot is really unimportant thanks to Cyclohm's typing, and as mentioned earlier, water is heavy. On top of that, we can't see what's in that cloud, but I'll tell you what's in there: a dragon. That's what.
Maybe 7' if we're counting the heads in its height. As for weight, maybe ~340 lbs? Remember it's got a ton of defense so it's probably not immaterial. There's something in there besides mist and lightning bolts. Plus it gives you something to sit on as you stomp around town blasting civilians with your awe-inspiring thunder dragon. And yeah, I'll go for the two pre-evos. Most dragons have two. One head, two heads, three heads. |
