Smogon Premier League - Sign Ups

I want to thank you all for being patient (I know you've been waiting for this!) So let's get to it! Introduction Thread Manager Sign Up Thread Sign-Up Information If you wish to play for the Smogon Premier League, there are a couple of things you'll want to be aware of. First of all is that this is will be a very quick running tournament. With rounds only lasting a single week, it is incredibly important that you be ready to contact your opponent IMMEDIATELY following the posting of a round. If you don't think you can complete one battle with one opponent each week for the next 10 weeks, then please for all of our sakes, do not sign up. Second is that in this sign-up thread, you are not signing up to compete, but rather signing up to be put into an auction where you may or may not be chosen to compete. Just because you sign up here, doesn't mean you will be able to play. And unfortunately, not everyone who signs up will make it onto a team... it's just the way things are. However, I still encourage everyone who wants to play to sign up anyway, even if they don't think they have a shot of making it on a team. There's no better way to get your name out there than to at least make an attempt to play, and maybe you'll be recognized next time and be chosen! Lastly is... well... how to actually sign up! The following is the format I want ALL sign-up posts to look like: Quote:
You are allowed to put more than one role in your sign-up... in fact, I recommend it if you have the ability to play more than one. Because your manager will be choosing what tier you play each week, you may be called to switch around tiers / generations, and the more tiers / generations you can play (competently), the more valuable you are to a manager! However, do NOT pad your resume... Only sign up for the tiers you actually think you are one of the best players in. A note: To anyone signing up to play a past generation, you will need to be able to use Netbattle Supremacy. Once signed up, I highly encourage you (especially if you are not a well known player) to contact the managers and try and make your case, perhaps arrange a battle so they can scout your skills. However, do not, I repeat DO NOT, harass them in order to get on their team. If I catch word from a manager that someone is being overly annoying in their attempt to get on a team, you'll be taken off the sign-up list entirely.
