Up the stairs and on the note board: It’s a posted notice…

Bookshelf: It’s crammed full of Pokemon books.
Dresser: It’s a nicely made dresser It will hold a lot of stuff.

It is stuff in the game that says like "Dad would like this program....Gotta go" whenever you press the A button while in front of a TV.Or "Someone's been cooking" when in front of a sink.
