I have also found it easier to breed than capture RNG, there is more to breeding but it becomes easier as you know you only have to worry about route 3 NPC's, if you want to capture where there is NPC's it is alot more difficult, I have not has of yet RNG'd a shiny at all but im planning to learn how to add in shiny breeding
