Jou have to save the picture that you want to use as an avatar on your computer. iT DOES NOT ACCEPT ALL FORMATS OF PICTURES, BUT IT DOes take jpeg or gif.
then go to yout control panel (CP) and click on edit avitar. Just follow the directions from that point.
You can use short .gifs if you want to have motion.
