I think your post would be really good in the gen 6 thread in Orange Islands located here, and I'd encourage you to post and discuss it there.

It's specifically said in the thread at least 3 times that discussing major mechanic changes is to be avoided, as DLC has never been present in a Pokemon game in the context you were describing I think it's a bit much to be speculating about it. I didn't have a problem with your post as a whole, I just don't think that's the thread for it. It isn't really something that can spark discussion.
