    Pregunta de Gen 2: Yo tengo un Pokémon usando Sky Attack y otro más rápido, envenenado y a 5% HP. El Pokémon usa un movimiento, daña al de Sky Attack, el veneno toma efecto y muere. Por lo tanto, otro Pokémon envenenado toma su lugar. Este Pokémon no recibe daño de veneno. El Pokémon de Sky Attack no acaba el turno porque el anterior murió. En el siguiente turno Sky Attack se ha reseteado. ¿Correcto?

    si no recuerdo mal el veneno se aplica al final de cada turno no? Si cambias de pokemon todavia es tu turno, pero si te hacen phaze entonces ya es el turno del rival

    la verdad me estas preguntando cosas que necesitaria dias o semanas para investigar tal como estoy haciendo con rby. Lo que me preguntas es mas complejo que estudiar el funcionamiento de un movimiento que es algo mas concreto.
    Por ahora tan solo te estoy diciendo lo que creo.

    Tengo otra duda xD (menudo spam): "The attack drop from the burn is only applied when attacker's attack level is higher than defender's defense level." Esto quiere decir que en el cálculo de la stat, ¿el ataque se divide por 2 solamente si el nivel de ataque base es más alto que el nivel de defensa base del defensor?

    Otra cosa, lo de los críticos de gen 2 y el "The attack drop from the burn is only applied when attacker's attack level is higher than defender's defense level " es sólo para la gen 2 y en la 1 no pasa, ¿verdad?

    correcto, en gen 1 en burn se ignora siempre en todos los crits

    ¿Esto no era al revés, que la defensa se divide por 2 (y por ello tenemos el base power hardcodeado al doble)?

    si en unos meses tengo mas tiempo y me vuelven a entrar mas ganas volvere a estar mas activo, pero la verdad poco a poco lo fui dejando un poco quizas por aburrimiento, per sobre todo eso es debido a la falta de competicion y de jugadores de rby/gsc en general, se hace muy pesado cuando te conectas muchos dias y terminas dandote cuenta que muchas veces no hay nadie decente (y con ganas) para jugar.

    Hombre, no sé si te has enterado, pero en esta season los TDs han decidido crear un nuevo oficial, el Smogon Old Gen Tournament, empieza el 24 de Nov. A ver si con ese tournament te entran las ganas de volver, que siempre has sido uno de esos players que marcan un antes y un después .l. ¿No te interesa jugar new gens como XY?

    seguro que no, no tenia interes cuando estaba mas activo y ahora menos. Ultimamente dedico mas tiempo a mi hack de pokemon crystal o a subir videos a youtube. Poco a poco fui perdiendo interes en pokemon competitivo a medida que surgio lo del hack, aunque todavia participo en algun torneo suelto. Pero SPL por ejemplo requiere demasiado tiempo y esfuerzo y torneos de ese tipo ya he decidido que no me merecen la pena.

    if you ever want an idea for an article, i was actually wondering earlier what GSC would look like if taunt existed :o not sure how much content you could pull out of that but it sounds like it could be really interesting!

    Thanks for the positive feedback! Unfortunately, I don't think i'll be able to write more artciles in a while; too much stuff going on already, in fact, too much Pokemon stuff. I had a hard time finding time to write that last article (started writing it in issue 30).

    I do hope to write more articles in the future though. It's fun to write them too :)
