Well bruh, why use skarmory to counter dd dragonite when hippowdon can do the same? I understand the enthusiasm, but try to bring some more solid evidence when trying to disprove a set. Admittedly it isnt the most wide used set, but it definitely has its very small niche.

First off, usage statistics should NEVER be used to determine whether a move should be in a set or not, they are not always indicative of the ture value of moves. Second off, defensive mawile has a very small niche and literally all your examples were "Why use mawile to counter x mon when something else can counter it."
