    "brand new" is a phrase; the hyphen isn't necessary. :P Also, "13 years old" doesn't have any hyphens. You hyphenate ages only if the age comes before is modifying a noun or is a noun itself, not when it's an adjective phrase that comes after a noun. For example: "my friend is 16 years old" vs. "my 16-year-old friend."

    I didn't want to give you an extra alert for no reason. :P and oh no don't remind me about that thing (I honestly don't get how I could do it.. I don't think I'm capable of it lol) Also, did you get the artist badge for media art and stuff or for co-leading sprite project? I'm assuming the second one, but just checking.

    I have the Artist badge for contributions to the sprite project. Being co-leader doesn't have to do with it, though it does allow me to boss around other people who have the badge for their contributions. ;p

    looking at the vms below, I feel as if we're having similar problems. There just aren't enough art opportunities on Smogon to be able to keep up a steady stream of tweets that make for an active and exciting twitter
    I think there's a way to solve/improve this situation--sticky the RMA thread (!) it would mean more art for your account and great filler for our account! Try asking the ss mods about it if possible :>

    I had a PM discussion with Bummer and co. not too long ago where I pitched some ideas, but there isn't necessarily much we can do. Everything has seen lower participation recently: MAC, RMA, battle free-for-all; people get burnt out or disinterested and many of these things are dead. Right now there aren't even enough artists available for The Smog, much less recreational goodies.

    For the time being, the best point of attack is probably to have artists (such as yourself) update their threads frequently to keep some activity going. When SS was most active in ~2010/11, big names like Nastyjungle and Yilx tended to inspire people this way. ;p (so I'm told, but I believe it) I'd join in if I weren't shackled to the sprite project!

    Anyway, sorry if I seem cranky at all. I'm super tired. In all honestly though, it's nice to see that somebody else cares! /me pets brightobject

    you don't know me but i used to do art leader/socialisation forum stuff here a while ago, and i was interested to see that your art of smogon twitter account isn't active anymore

    that seems like a pretty cool project. was there a reason it ended?
