It's just that the non-OU tiers have a huge stigma to them. UU and under feels like pandering, and Ubers/AG feel like cheating. How I think about these things is complicated and admittedly really unhealthy.

I don't play any Smogon metagames at all, and don't you like posting in OI at least?

True... It's just stuck in my head that if I don't play competitive, that makes me an inferior player because I'm not enjoying the game as deeply as I should.
