Didn't get to place. I had way more D/Cs this time around than last time, probably had a D/C rate around 30%. I would have been around 15th if I did place because I ended the tournament around 1920....

Look at it this way. They are rated high BECAUSE they disconnect. Don't worry about it though, the most they're doing is wasting their own time. They won't be in the final rankings.

Ratings mean nothing. You could be a 2000 player and still get placed with 1300s. That's why this tournament can be quite tedious at times.

I'm glad this tournament is 1 month before the regionals because it gives us a good chance to see what works and what doesn't and patch it up before October. Will be participating in this one.
