  4. Smogon VGC 2012 - Usage stats

IMO the Hypno usage isn't too unheard of, especially considering that a lot of participants in this tournament are not too accustomed to the VGC rules. What often comes to mind is, "No Sleep Clause?!" There are several ways to fight against it, but Hypno is the only mon who can passively counter...

(.85)^4 = 52.2% of Meteor Mash hitting 4 consecutive times. Considering your 85% accuracy, you have a 17% chance of getting an attack boost each time Meteor Mash is used. (1-.17)^4 = 47.5% chance of getting an attack boost over the course of 4 Meteor Mashes. Just did that to put things into...

  11. Smogon Community VGC YouTube Channel: Who's up for it?

In addition to cross division matches, I would say that we should go for cross region matches as well. While the Americas and Europe have similar metagames, East Asia has a bit of uniqueness that could bring a nice spark to the channel (however, how you go about contacting them is past me.)...

  13. Huy's Swanna Song (NorCal Regionals 12 and Farewell Announcement)

;-; Since the day you gave me a Kyogre in 2010, even though you had never heard of me, I have been a huge fan. Seeing a player of your caliber running creative teams such as this one and your Pikachu team is great for a community that often shies from the norm. Best of luck with your future...

Yes, cool article I must agree. It is clear that TCPi wants to help out newer players and familiarize them with types of teams they will likely encounter at their respective regional tournament. Furthermore, they state: However, I'm not entirely sure this article is accomplishing its...

Scizor can hit Cresselia hard while also hitting the most common sand setter, Tyranitar, for super effective damage. Not to mention he also doesn't take damage from the sand because of his steel typing.
