  1. Other Monotype Bug Team

So, I created my first Monotype bug team, and I'd like some expert opinions on it. I posted this team already on the OU forum, but was pointed towards here since I was told it doesn't really work well in that environment. Well, here goes: Venomoth @ Black Sludge Ability: Tinted Lens EVs: 252...
  2. ORAS OU Mono Bug Team

This is for OU. I'm aware of the other forum, and I wanted opinions for the general OU environment.
  3. ORAS OU Mono Bug Team

Alright, so I finally decided to build a mono type team and wanted some expert opinions on possible changes. With that, let's cut to the chase: Venomoth @ Black Sludge Ability: Tinted Lens EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 4 SpD / 24 Spe Bold Nature - Sleep Powder - Quiver Dance - Baton Pass - Bug Buzz...
  4. CAP 15 CAP 4 - Final Product

    It's.......BEAUTIFUL!!! Enough said.
  5. Cryogonal Discussion

I've always thought that Cryogonal was a bit too frail to be usable, but after doing some research, I am seriously considering testing out the crystal snowflake (or whatever it's supposed to be...go figure) as a spinner. Wish me luck.
  6. Counter That Uber Pokémon! - Teambuilder [Team 1 Voting!]

Reshiram @ Choice Specs Ability: TurboBlaze Nature: Modest (+SpAtk, -Atk) EVs: 252 SpAtk/252 Spe/4 Def - Blue Flare - Draco Meteor - Focus Blast - Flamethrower Kinda generic, but it works well.
  7. np: Intro to Ubers Testing: It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)

I'm all for giving Moody Clause a try. Now, before you all grab the pitchforks and torches, let me remind you all that the Pokemon who get are -easily- destroyed by anything in Ubers, even with the massive boosts that they get with Moody (I mean, for example, would you REALLY want to use...
  8. Solar Vengeance (#1 on all major ladders)

I usually would say boot Victini since I hate the damned thing, but this team is awesome.
  9. Domination ( OU Team RMT )

Nice team, though I think Breloom would be better suited to using a Subpunch set. That way, it can not only deal with threats, but make easy targets for say, Darmanitan by putting them to sleep. Breloom@Leftovers 4HP/ 252 Atk/252 Speed Nature: Adamant Spore Substitute Focus Punch Mach Punch
  10. OU team please rate

Blissey is a MUCH better wishpasser than Jolteon is. Also, Scarf Terrakion would wreck this team six ways from Sunday.
  11. My Very First Team

I think the BoltBeam combo on Starmie would be an excellent choice, since it can further decimate opposing teams. Though, that would mean that you'd have to ditch the Specs for a Life Orb.
  12. Electric Mono Team (1 allowed Wild Card)

Magnezone would be excellent for this team since it has so many type resistances, plus it still stays to the Electric theme. Also, you get major points in my book for using a Restalk Stunfisk.
  13. The sunlight turned harsh! (B/W OU)

This team is in serious trouble from Terrakion, who can easily switch in on Ninetales' Flamethrower and OHKO it with Stone Edge before wreaking hell on high water for your team. Infernape is in danger too, for Stone Edge takes it out as well. I strongly suggest you consider a check for it.
  14. My first BW team, and my first RMT (Rain)

Vaporeon would be a better choice for Toxicstall. I'm not knocking Tenta, but Vaporeon does that better thanks to it's bulk. Running it with Hydration on a ResTalk set wouldn't go amiss either.
  15. Insert Unique Cool Name Here First RMT

If you're gonna run Metagross as a lead, then at least give it Stealth Rock. Otherwise, pretty cool team
  16. Cracking the Sun Code!

You should use a Specs set on Ninetales, since it works well for non-leads: Ninetales @ Choice Specs 4 HP/252 SP Atk/252 Speed Nature: Timid Trait: Drought Fire Blast Solar Beam Dark Pulse Hidden Power (Fighting) Try this set
  17. Styler 10/6's Posse

Chansey/Bliss does the job as a tank and wish supporter better than Umbreon can hope. Otherwise, great team.
  18. *trollface* You mad?

I'm sorry, but I am really getting tired of people trying to force Sableye to be viable in OU. There are MUCH better Prankster users, and quite frankly it's about as frail as a piece of paper. People should stop trying really.
  19. Magic Makes It All Complete, a team by Dragone

Go for a BoltBeam combo on Starmie to cause more pain. With Life Orb, that combo can hit most threats for severe neutral damage, and you have Ferrothorn to deal with a certain sea slug. (Gastrodon, I'm talking about you)
  20. My first rain team and also my first RMT!

You could give Cloyster a Life Orb to cause more hurt against the various threats, since it's EV spread tells me it can take a few hits. Otherwise, good team.
