Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
How would Focus Punch fit into Dragonite's standard outrage set? I know fire blast is to counter-predict steels trying to wall outrage. What I'm trying to determine is, is focus punch better? (In typing this, it seems like it would be highly situational, and a good surprise.)
Move 1: Dragon...
Although he hasn't been in any of my recent teams, I'm obsessed with Sceptile. He is just so badass. He makes a good pseudo-Electivire with good type coverage. Too bad he's grass, with all of that ice/fire around.... I like a two-pronged Gyarados-Metagross combo. I've always liked Gyarados since...
I think they have a method which involves "rewinding" your game to different save files and checking to see if a whole bunch of pokemon just showed up out of nowhere (ala pokesav, AR, ect).
Steel is weak to ground- the only steel type that'd give you trouble is levitate bronzong. That's what you were thinking, I guess.
Also- what about Miltank? It actually has a bit of offense, and still gets milk drink/heal bell.
Unfortunately, just reading this thread made me queasy and lightheaded....Needles don't bother me, but my own blood sure as hell does. I've fainted at least twice just being in the same room (but trying to not pay any attention to) as a Red Cross "donate blood" video.
My cousin knew and lived in the same appartment that notable Pittsburgh sports stars like Mario Lemieux and Larry Foote lived in. I guess that's really it.
The non-spinning Starmie has saved my ass multiple times. (Surf, Ice Beam, Grass Knot, T-bolt).
Empoleon- I thought he would suck, being EQ-weak, along with a Fighting weak. The E4 kinda roughed him up, but he makes a good mix of wall/attacker.
The only way to "catch" someone is if their Shuckle outspeeds your Scarf Weavile, stuff like that happening. Even if you caught them, what really could you do?
I wish it was true, I hope it could be true, but it's definitely too good to be true....
Plus, who in their right mind wouldn't try to get all four supposed Pokemon if they had a friend working there? (never mind good IVs/Natures....) EDIT: Or even just Wish Cressy and the BP Chimchar....
