  1. Other Creative / Underrated Sets Thread (Read the thread, NO SHITTY GIMMICKS)

Priority is so important as this point in 6th gen. Choice scarfers can really become a liability in many situations and extremespeed is probably one of the most integral priority moves at the moment. Genesect @ Life Orb Download Hasty 252 atk/252 Spe/4 SpD U-Turn Extremespeed Ice Beam Thunderbolt
  2. [OU] Twist at Rain Team

In all due respect, your team has no real offense as it is at the moment - rain boosted hydro pumps. Idk how this team plays so I can't help you there, but you're going to need to fit in a Life Orb user or Two because your team is way too dependent on making perfect reads and even then this...
  3. [OURain] Bye

You need to change Keldeo's nature to timid so it can outspeed everything bar scarf latios. Then drop hp bug because it's only good on the e belt set in order to feint a choice item when using an additional poke with the same counters (Landorus-I) which your team does not have. When playing with...
  4. SpecsMence is Back

drop spikes on ferro for stealth rock or change your terrakion or mamo set to accomodate Stealth Rock, it's the best move in the game.
  5. A Plea For Less Conservative Suspect Testing

Smogon is so reputable that I believe complicated bans will truly not be a problem. Also, considering how competitive many players are on this forum/PS server, I can't imagine "complicated" bans would be too complicated.
  6. Landorus (Update)(WIP)

Yeah usually Lando-T is the better option if you need rocks, but I've found Stealth Rock Lando to be amazing in offensive rain when space is tight for a stealth Rocker and you need the Sheer Force > Intimidate.
  7. Feraligatr's Fun (Peaked #1)

change your toed's speed evs a little. 220 Sp/ 36 HP That way you hit 231 Speed so you can always outspeed Adamant Scizor, and even though Scizor is 229 Speed, Heatrans always creep to 230, so Toed can still outspeed and ko before it sets up rocks on your team.
  8. Goon Squad

Soooo does this team X out if the opponent has Venusaur in team preview? Seriously how do you play against Sun? Sludge Bomb/Giga/HP Fire will massacre this team and it's the most common set. I definitely second the guy who posted that Latias set. Even in a Rain meta, Grass isnt good enough to...
  9. Landorus (Update)(WIP)

    /Stealth Rock too!
  10. BW2 General Metagame Discussion Thread

I'm not quite sure how this has any competitive relevance at all.
  11. Zephyr - Balanced Rain - Peaked # 1997

Rest was actually on Ferro for that reason until I made it to around 1900 on my voyage, and by then I realized it was far too slow without sleep talk (which I can't play because I NEED power whip). Sorry man but I'm sticking with my dnites evs already.
  12. Zephyr - Balanced Rain - Peaked # 1997

Yeah originally I was using CS toed, I'll definitely give the 2 sets a shot. I like the idea of the offensive donphan spread, thanks man. :]
  13. Zephyr - Balanced Rain - Peaked # 1997

Hello Smogon, I've been playing competitive pokemon on and off for a few years now and rain has been my favorite playstyle as I believe it to be the best. Originally I made top 30 at 1870 with a rain stall team utilizing tornadus t and sub roost dragonite until the advent of genesect. With the...
  14. Quagsire (BW2 Revamp) (QC 3/3) (GP 2/2)

Quag serves a niche on stall teams strictly, especially against rain where it can help against CM Jirachi. Additionally, it helps against scizor, lucario, terrakion, dnite, salamence among other threats. I see Quagsire as a sort of glue to a defensive core for rain stall.
  15. Stall in BW2

I've made 1950 on smogon servers multiple times with my semi-stall team. The playstyle is definitely still really good, however it takes a lot of skill considering how fast the meta is and one mistake could mean losing.
  16. Yu-Gi-Oh discussion

    BWs, and GB say sup.
  17. np: Trade Thread - Free #VGC Pokemon

Hey Cassie I need a Marvel Scale Dratini, I'm trying to make a sub/roost set for VGC, please? :]
  18. Wish maker rides the lightning! (peaked #14)

This team doesnt have any trouble against gyara, in fact gyara allows dnite to easily set up a +2 or +1/sub and win from there.
  19. Wish maker rides the lightning! (peaked #14)

the problem with that match is that your opponent was retarded and let you set up. However, it's a prime example of how once dnite gets momentum like that it's pretty much GG. Yeah like I said before, idk how you could play this team without dnite, the only other "muscle" this team actually has...
  20. Wish maker rides the lightning! (peaked #14)

I'm not too sure how this team would play without dnite. I've been running this team alot lately, peaking at 1468 and most of my games have been won through it.
