Kick the Meta in the Face (A UU RMT ver. 1.2)

Rhyperior beats both king and queen 1v1 every time. Also Blastoise.

Kick the Meta in the Face (A UU RMT ver. 1.2)

Yeah Rhyperior's not a hard counter but if I predict correctly I can switch in when he's locked on thunderbolt or volt turn, and yes Mienshao can come in for revenges. Something that was suggested way above with replacing noivern with magnezone is going to be put into effect now. I said before...

First RMT, I'd really love your opinions!

Cool team, don't see any glaring typing holes but I have a feeling you'd do badly against fast volt switch teams, and you don't have a revenge killer so I'm going to suggest replacing rotom with a more threatening scarfer, since I doubt you need the trick with all those utility moves capable of...

Kick the Meta in the Face (A UU RMT ver. 1.2)

That's not really the point of mienshao on this team. Your suggestion gives him an entirely different role that's different from what I want him to do. Please don't give suggestions like this that change the team unnecessarily and messes up the synergy while not having a particular purpose.

Kick the Meta in the Face (A UU RMT ver. 1.2)

Yeah my bad on speed EVs. I'm not going to run aura sphere just because it's standard, I need toxic as a failsafe for any walls toxicroak can't deal with or if he dies. My win condition is mienshao HJKing everything. I don't find a need to mess up my team synergy when I don't have any problems...

Kick the Meta in the Face (A UU RMT ver. 1.2)

This is interesting because the rhyperior switch was actually the exact change I was thinking of making. Previously when I didn't have Toxicroak on the team I had used those two pokemon, and threw Aggron on there mainly to deal with fairies. Now that I have Toxicroak I'm going to implement that...

Kick the Meta in the Face (A UU RMT ver. 1.2)

EDITS IN ITALICS Now version 1.2, wow! Greetings Smogon, it's time for a UU RMT! Aren't you excited? Well you should be because here comes a team that's different from all those stall teams in the tier, Mienshao kicks the meta in the face and asserts its dominance. Welcome to the dawn of a new...

248 Base Power 140 Base Attack (A UU RMT)

I think I'm going to try implementing the changes Explorer has suggested, except replacing Earthquake with HP Ice. I'll get back to you guys on how they work.

248 Base Power 140 Base Attack (A UU RMT)

Uh, Naive gives speed. I'm implementing the changes you've recommended, thanks.

That's exactly the point. I'm not weak to hazards enough that I need a dedicated spinner taking up the slot, but Espeon not only has the chance to bounce hazards back, acting like a secondary setter, and it can be used on status moves like toxic or most prominently spore from Breloom. In the...

248 Base Power 140 Base Attack (A UU RMT)

Hello Smogon RMT. I really enjoy the UU tier, I think it allows for some pokemon who don't usually get to shine show how amazing they can actually be. As you've probably already guessed from the title, I'm mostly talking about Archeops. Yep, it's time for flying gem Archeops. Once upon a time I...

    The Spinner-less Revolution

I've tried all the suggestions posted so far and I have to say I actually don't like any of them. Turns out I can switch Flygon into a lot more things than Garchomp because of U-turn. This basically makes Garchomp useless until way late into the match. T-tar lead was not a good idea, it turns...

    The Spinner-less Revolution

Thanks man, I'd like to keep Terrakion as a wallbreaker with swords dance, so do you think it would work if I just lead with T-tar? Also, does anyone else have any opinions on the team?

    The Spinner-less Revolution

Thanks for the advice scotti, the main reason I'm concerned with that switch is that I use Flygon as a lead. Do you have any suggestions as to which pokemon to lead with instead?

    The Spinner-less Revolution

Hello smogon. I've been following the OU metagame and used my experiences to build this team. The concept is simple: No spinner, only magic bounce Espeon. Now I've tried this particular strategy before, but every team I've used it on previously encountered problems with aggressive stealth rock...

    Expect the Unexpected

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will probably switch that nature on archeops over, but i'm hesitant about giving it u-turn as there are really not a lot of opportunities to switch him back in. The point with gliscor here is to take hits as he sets up, and so if some poke trys to DD and get a...

    Expect the Unexpected

Hello everyone, I have with me a team that utilizes some pokemon not usually encountered in the OU metagame. As I am fairly new to competitive battling and have not memorized what checks what and which pokemon OHKO others and whatnot, I'd appreciate it if you could help decipher some of this...
