    Rock Head / Battle Armor Pretty clearly is wearing wooden armour, if not as thick as Pyroak's. I like the idea of Flash Fire but it's liekly we'd have to change it again for Embirch, and I don't see why it'd gain it and then lose it again upon evolution.

    Not to mention that Embirch, aside from its tail leaf and "skirt", is notably coloured red, which is enough indication of a Fire typing for most unevolved Fire Pokemon. Vulpix, Torchic etc.

    Embirch as a baby helps draw comparisons with the Magmar line, so I think we'd do well to go with it.
