You have a point. If it catches on and becomes "popular", then of course most parents would do it, because they wouldn't want their child to be an outcast. On the other hand, if it doesn't catch on, because 25 years off your life turns most people off, then no one is going to do it.

I do think if technology advances enough in the future, then example 3 would be the one to be the closest thing to end humanity. I don't see number 1 happening because (some) parents would want what's best for their child, which is to give them a long and happy life.

For me, it's gonna be weird to see someone else hosting it. I think cause Drew Carey seems too.... young? Well compared to Bob Barker. I do hope he turns out to be a great host.

Any of the Tales games are awesome, namely Tales of Symphonia (one of my favorite games ever), and pretty much any of the Final Fantasy games are the best games I've ever played. Golden Sun was an amazing game too.
