To be honest I'm not sure what that Altaria does that a defensive Dragonite (the TWave offensive Tank onsite is brutal in this metagame) doesn't do much, much better.

Still loses to pretty much any defensive / support pokemon, and there isn't even a guarantee that you won't change into a Rock or Steel type. Fighting types don't typically like switching into Pory anyway because of the risk of Thunder Wave.

DJD - Try getting a more subtle bend into the body, the current shape really doesn't look like a natural pose. Love your design otherwise.

^That's just a dumb argument, plain and simple. Their typing's synergise well, as you seem to half-admit. The only actual objection you raised is that Hail impinges Gliscor's ability to recover. By 6%. And Hail will only commonly be up if we go directly from Aboma to Gliscor, in which case...

About Abomasnow, I actually think that's easily our best option so long as we have some way to at least delay entry hazards going down. I've played against that Sand / Hail team bubbly posted quite a few times on the ladder and it's very effective but it does (from what I saw) make a lot of use...

Bubbly has a really cool Tran set which he used against me in a PO tourney, it was a basic bulky SR set with Rocky Helmet and I think some physical defense investment. I've been using it on a few teams today and it absolutely ruins Genesect, which is fantastic :)

I would say that what we think of as altruism does exist, but it is in fact a way of benefitting yourself which has evolved since humans (or our ancestors) began living in close-knit communities. I just scratched your back, you'd better scratch mine when you get the chance, etc.
