I feel Mega-Metagross deserves S-rank at this point. There's literally no reason not to run this thing on offensive or balanced teams. It matches up so well against common threats like Lele, Magearna and Mega-Zam and using it basically gives you a tank, wallbreaker and fast offensive mon in 1...

''Sticky Web allows it to pressure teams which depend on fast scarfers like Lando-T or Garchomp to deal with Electrics.'' Lando-T isn't affected by sticky web.

Cool rain team I built utilizing lead Krook and Rocking Z Breloom to get past fat teams. Team is pretty good and fun to use. It got me up to the 1700's and got me reqs for the suspect test. Pelipper (F) @ Damp Rock Ability: Drizzle EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA Bold Nature - Scald -...

    OU Dugtrio

What about groundium Z? It allows you to ohko Toxapex and beat chansey much easier. Seems like a legitimate option for rain teams so Kingdra or Ludicolo can clean up. 252 Atk Dugtrio Tectonic Rage vs. -2 0 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 655-772 (102.1 - 120.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO (after...

No recoil after using Gigavolt Havoc. If you want to use your electric stab again you obviously take recoil but that's when roost comes into play.

I've been using physical Tapu Koko with Electrium Z and it's pretty amazing. It's a great lure for Chansey and Mega-Venu. Tapu Koko @ Electrium Z Ability: Electric Surge EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Wild Charge - Brave Bird - U-turn - Roost - 252 Atk Tapu Koko...

    On The Radar

I don't see what Aegi has to do with the tapus being broken or not. The only tapu Aegi can actually deal with is Lele and specs shadow ball still hurts. Koko 2hko's it and even bulu can 2hko with wood hammer.

    Pokémon Toxapex

I really don't like baneful bunker on this mon. It has much better moves to run like haze, t-spikes, toxic or even poison jab. Besides, the most common attacks aimed at this mon will be earthquakes and thunderbolts.

    Pokémon Xurkitree

What about lum berry on the tail glow set. Makes it easier to beat Chansey and lets you set up on defensive mons that rely on toxic.

Well the goal of this set is to break through slower defensive teams. You could use more speed to outspeed certain defensive mons or even go jolly. But even against offensive teams you almost always get a kill with Never-ending-Nightmare or possibly sweep with shadow sneak late game.

Thanks to the introduction of Z-moves Aegislash actually gets a super strong physical ghost move in Never-Ending-Nightmare (140 BP). This makes it much easier to break teams after a swords dance. Aegislash @ Ghostium-Z Ability: Stance Change EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD Adamant Nature -...

Agreed, Aegi is stupidly good but that doesn't mean it's broken. It's not a mon that easily sweeps through teams or is extremely difficult to take out.

Aegi checks/counters a lot of mons but it doesn't match up that well against most steel types.

    Metagame Metagame Discussion Thread

I like this set on teams that rely on sr and spikes to rack up damage. The main reason to use this set is dragon tail imo so poison jab is probably better then stone edge so you can deal decent damage to fairy types that want to switch in. Fire blast over earthquake is also an option to hit...

    Pokémon Pelipper

Pelipper alone makes rain a lot better, because it's a much better pokemon then politoed and has that slow u-turn, which makes it so much easier to get your swift swim sweeper in. I don't think Swampert will be used much. The mega buff makes it a bit better but it still has the same problems it...

    Pokémon Tapu Bulu

I can see this becoming a great stallbreaker. Tapu Bulu @ Lum berry Ability: Grassy Surge EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Swords Dance - Horn Leech - Stone edge - Superpower This is pretty hard for stall to beat when Skarm gets weakened. Lum makes you immune to status and Horn...

    Move Z-Move Discussion

Z-Splash Kingdra under rain is actually really good. Kingdra @ Normalium Z Ability: Swift Swim EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Splash - Waterfall - Outrage - Return After Z-splash you're basically at +3 Atk and +2 Speed. Return is there so you can hit water-resists without...
