Have you tried Doomsday Machine? I haven't heard the whole album, but I like Skeleton Dance and Nemesis. Nemesis has one of the best key changes ever, imo, but no-one else would really care about that! :P

Hmm, well if they are dented then you may have to replace them, the heads I mean. I think dents can effect the sound of drums by quite a bit. But I guess if it's the acoustics, then there's not much you can do. Keep up the good playing though!
