  1. You don't stand a GHOST of a chance!

-Entry hazards are a staple, so Froslass stays. -Rotom does not learn Mean Look. -Ubers is right. Rotom(Appliance) should be your designated Scizor counter. ResTalk with Will-O-Wisp, T-bolt and a Bold nature handles physical threats like Scizor and Metagross while crippling Tyranitar. -I think...
  2. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 17

If you use Swallow after Stockpiling, do the defense boosts disappear along with the "Stockpile counters"? I got this idea from planning to use Snorlax (learns them from Munchie level-up). Seemed like a good idea. :)
  3. CAP 7 CAP 7 - Part 12 - Supporting Moves Discussion

Memento would be great as a last resort. Cripple your opponent and safely see one of his moves (since you're most likely faster). Magic Coat, or something that blocks status could work since Scoutmon's highest stats are crippled by Burn & Paralysis. Perish Song, WoW, Roar and BP are welcome...
  4. CAP 7 CAP 7 - Part 9 - Art Poll 2

The voting is pretty hard. My vote's for CyzirVisheen, but my second option was Doug's. Both justify the info given and the present STAB available.
  5. Team Cruel Intentions

Great, cooperative team. I have my doubts on E-speed, but it's Togekiss' only priority move and can possibly beat Skymin w/o HP Ice (4-move limit hurts him) and from what I've seen on CB sets, is effective. I love your ideas for Gallade. If I were to run that set, I could try Thunderpunch since...
  6. ''Team Frustration'' Rate it,please=]

oh my god... that deoxys set is too good. ^but you DO need max speed for opposing deoxys. The best thing about it is that you can just Taunt Pokemon that can predictably PHaze you, even Zapdos.
  7. Team Awesome Sauce (Plat OU)

Dragon Dance Pokemon ARE a threat to this team. Tyranitar can cause some problems to some extent, too. Other than that, I want this team on my meat for dinner. Good luck to you, MTI
  8. A Plat-based Team (RMT)

He's got a point. STAB priority moves, Pain Split for Blissey, Taunt for Bronzong and WoW to the rest (barring Gyara if you forget to Taunt) and watch out for Azelf leads. (switch in Gengar to Trickscarf, ftl)
  9. New team that works surprising well!

With opposing Scarftran carrying moves to stroke all of your team (Overheat/Flamethrower, Earth Power, HP Ice) and being in maybe 75% of standard updated teams, you might want to +Speed your Scarftran. You could also opt for Meta as your lead often. Trick's availability cripples Zong a lot.
  10. I'm a D/P newb - Shoddy RMT

I sense a slight Weavile weakness, 1-2HKOing your team. Reflect is a good option. Taunt on Spiritomb is genius, especially with the common ScarfGar running around. Toxic for your Blissey is good to last stall wars w/o SToss. Some TTars & fast Pokemon can give problems. But, this team is good...
  11. Gastrodon > Swampert?

You do have your points. Gastrodon's walling capabilities are superb with the help of Recover & Stockpile & you can choose your color of preference :P. There's some letdowns to it, though. It has no access to SR, unlike Swampert. It's PHazing isn't direct & can't ruin Subs (? correct me if Yawn...
  12. RMT (Rain Dance)

You can replace RD on Kingdra to make room for an offensive move to counter Water &/or Dragon-types (ironic how it's own kind is its bane). You can tweak Ludicolo for more recovery options (so many), but I suggest going on with GK, since your team has a slight Gyarados weakness. To further prove...
  13. Rate my wi-fi rain dance team

Solid team. Swampert is a great lead, especially to counter SS leads. As for Abomasnow, Gengar can take it. I can suggest you get a Pokemon to set up Rain Dance besides Kingdra & Life Orb to Azumarill just to add to their potential as sweepers. This team has problems with status. Kingdra &...
  14. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 10

Where should I post a single Pokemon I need help with in the D/P section?
  15. RMT: SS Team

Solid team. I'd consider another stat-upping move for Cradily, since you have 2 phys. tanks to begin with. I'm not really on to the idea of Dusknoir on weather teams, but mostly because Lefties recovery on Dusknoir really makes a difference, especially with the help of Pain Split & WoW (if you...
  16. RMT: One of a Kind Breloom!

Awesome set & team, blackflag4ever. I have second thoughts of Breloom as a lead, but it's good. Weavile is something I plan to raise, but Ice Punch or Night Slash is something I'm debating about. I see no clear problems here, utilizing some of Duality's suggestions. Donphan can give Spin & Knock...
  17. my first team

I'll take the freedom to remove the friggin' big pictures & write comments on bold lettering. I like your Pokemon, but they're a little unsupportive of each other. I can also point out that Weavile would walk all over this team, barring Snorlax by a whim. Take Janenmori's advice. Good luck :)!
  18. New team!

kd8 is right about Weavile, especially the revenge killer sets. The lack of Speed is clear, barring Yanmega. Also, good luck switching on a NPZelf/ Scarf lead without Detect. All note that without a Speed Boost & Detect, Yanmega is sqishable with fast leads that have moves SE to him...
  19. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 10

2 Questions please-- Do Synchronizers apply on Legendaries? (Before battling, get - insert nature- Ralts fainted/not, then capture it with probably the same nature) Can I soft-reset on recieving Mystery Gift Pokemon until I get good IVs/DVs?
  20. Umbreon starts it, Lucario finishes (or something like that)

The Umbreon I see usually pair off with things for Curse & Wish-passing like Dusknoir, Snorlax & Azumarill. Go ahead & try, but it might not work well 30 percent of the time. Your Lucario is something I'd consider. The last attack should either be Crunch or Bullet Punch. Crunch to hit on Ghosts...
