Pokémon Dragalge (HA confirmed to be Adaptability)

Well this certainly makes it even more interesting than it already was. Now we can use it to force switches with it's resistances and massive spD and hit hard with one of it's stabs on the switch. if you don't want to use toxic spikes you could even give it assault vest to force switches even...

    Other Item Clause

I can definitely see the argument for both sides. I think it would be cool to increase the usage if the new defensive and offensive items this gen, but I can also see how it could make some pokemon less viable in the metagame because they really need a common item that there's usually another...

Poll for our default simulator tiering level

IMHO we should stick with lv 100. I have only been playing since the start of gen V so tradition really isn't an argument that concerns me. I'm mostly interested in the math and logistics. 1. As many people have already stated there is a slight power creep, thereby slightly reducing the...

    Move Sticky Web

Has anyone checked if magic bounce works on it? I assume it's basically certain that it will, but you never know.

    Other Viable Megas

It will definitely depend on the team, I think it's a little silly to say that it's not worth using your mega slot on a certain pokemon because they all fulfill different roles and sometimes only one of the mega mons will be valuable for your team, even if it's not one of the generally strongest.

    Pokémon Pangoro

Right now all that pangoro seems to have over Conkeldurr is slightly better special defence and it's secondary typing. But without ice punch as coverage, which Conkeldurr gets and drain punch, which would greatly increase it's survivability. Unless it gets more coverage moves Conkeldurr will...

    Pokémon Azumarill

I think that Azumarill will be very good this gen, maybe not a top tier ou mon, but certainly worthy of a spot. It's new ability to counter many of the dominant gen 5 threats such as Keldeo and the outrage dragons will make it extremely valuable.

Other Looking Ahead to Gen VI Mark II (SEE POSTS #818 & #858)

I'm certainly looking forward to it, the new fairy typing it got will make it a lot more powerful than it was and increase it's ability to take hits with new resistances to dark, bug and fighting, a new neutrality to steel and a new weakness to only poison.

Pokémon Dragalge (HA confirmed to be Adaptability)

Is that spd speed or special defence? because if it's speed it's still not faster than much.

    Pokémon Hawlucha

I think flying press could actually be a good move on him, depending on the mechanics of the dual type moves it could get Dual STAB, but I don't know if they work that way.

Pokémon Dragalge (HA confirmed to be Adaptability)

I really like the design if this mon, but it's stats are a little bit of a let down. I think the set you posted may be the most viable, but it will unfortunately probably end up outclassed by many other specially defensive mons.

    Pokémon Doublade

I agree it'll make a pretty good stallmon, I guess it doesn't learn king's shield until it's Aegislash? I'm not too sure about the swords dance set given it's really low speed and low special bulk, It might work though.

    Pokémon Aegislash

Aegislash @ Leftovers Ability: Stance Change EVs: 252 Atk / 152 HP / 100 Spe Adamant Nature - Shadow claw - Sacred Sword - Automize - Swords Dance The lost HP EVs don't lose him all that much, they do allow a slightly easier 2kho from Kyurem-B earth power, but not many other significant OH or...

Other Looking Ahead to Gen VI Mark II (SEE POSTS #818 & #858)

Ah, I was for some reason under the impression that is was just status moves like thunder wave or toxic that you couldn't use with it.

Other Looking Ahead to Gen VI Mark II (SEE POSTS #818 & #858)

I'm thinking that assault vest might be a decent choice on Aegislash because it will make him even more difficult to take down from the special side and you have king's shield for the physical attacks. Also Aegislash is also going to suffer from a severe case of 4MSS because you want king's...

Other Looking Ahead to Gen VI Mark II (SEE POSTS #818 & #858)

Not very many offensive pokemon who would want this because of the decrease in power over a life orb or choice item. Not very many walls who would appreciate the extra sp.def over passive regen from leftovers. Snorlax might like it, maybe jirachi if it uses body slam to spread paralysis instead...

Other Looking Ahead to Gen VI Mark II (SEE POSTS #818 & #858)

Yeah, I thought it would probably learn play rough. To not die to Azumarill, Keldeo will need to run HP electric or grass and predict the switch in.

Does anyone else think that Azumarill is going to result in a huge decline in Keldeo usage if it gets a good physical fairy move?
