Regarding Ion Deluge, if you have a Pokemon use the move, is it possible for a Lightningrod user to absorb Normal type status moves like Encore, Swagger, and Glare due to them being transformed into the Electric type?
  2. Zebstrika

    It doesn't.
  3. Ambipom

That's pretty sad. I guess they honestly think that people are going use Skill Link over Technician for the sake of using Doubleslap...

Has anyone tried breeding Rock Blast and Bullet Seed onto it using Cincinno? I saw a claim that it can get both now, but I can't actually test it.

Am I correct in assuming that Unburden's speed boost still doesn't persist if the Pokemon is switched out? The fact that Belch is able remember that a Pokemon had used a Berry even after it switches out made me think Unburden might work similarly now.

It's had that move since B/W, actually. In any case, I'm seriously feeling out of ideas as to what other moves I should test at this point. I'm thinking they probably just decided to slap some random physical attacks on it because they were too lazy to think of anything that could actually be...
  7. Rhyperior, Rhydon and Rhyhorn

I saw a report that it can learn Guard Share as an egg move now. Smeargle is currently the only one who could actually pass it down, though.

Horn Leech is not an egg move. Unfortunate, since it makes sense, plus it would've given it something to murder Azumarill with.
  9. Manectric

Logic is rarely applicable to egg moves, so I don't think it's really safe to rule out any moves without actually testing them. I already know Captivate doesn't work, though. I was half expecting it to, though, simply because it would be totally redundant when it already learns Eerie Impulse...

It would've appreciated a Poison type move for the sake of being able to do decent damage to Azumarill on the switch-in, which is partly why I tried teaching it Belch (As gimmicky as the move is). I'm kind of doubting that it even has any new egg moves, though.

I saw a report that it can learn Guard Split as an egg move from Smeargle, which likely means Spinda can indeed learn the move as earlier reported and pass it down.
  12. Wailord

I've heard a report that Wailmer can learn Clear Smog as an egg move, but lack the means to test it at the moment.
  13. Hawlucha

Considering how absolutely nothing is known to learn Parting Shot or Electrify despite rather extensive amounts of testing, it seems safe to assume that the signature moves in the sixth gen are going to stay that way for the time being.
  14. Pelipper

Does not learn Quiver Dance as an egg move. Which means there isn't any direct method of getting the move onto a Flying egg group Pokemon from the Bug egg group, as Swanna can't get it, either.
  15. Slowbro and Slowpoke

Does not get Quiver Dance as an egg move. Only bothered testing it out of the possibility of it being a bridge into the Monster egg group for passing the move down.
  16. Move Belch

Already tried breeding it onto Deino using Seviper. No dice.
  17. Altaria

Does not learn Nasty Plot as egg move.
  18. Swanna

Does not learn Quiver Dance as an egg move.
  19. Golduck

Doesn't get Quiver Dance as an egg move. Was mostly testing to see if it was a potential bridge out of the Bug egg group from Masquerain to get the move onto some Pokemon in the Field egg group. I'm kind of doubting that anything gets it as an egg move, though.
  20. Ludicolo

Does not get Quiver Dance as an egg move.
