    Item Assault Vest

In gen V, I've been playing around with Cradily in a sandstorm team alot as some kind of SpD tank whom can switch in on water attacks, what most Sandstorm teams don't like. I thought: Let's revisit that idea, just for fun. Little did I know I created a beast... Holy balls, Assault Vest Cradily...

Other Most overhyped or underated aspect this gen so far?

I agree. Lead of with something faster that can U-turn/Volt switch into a grass/overcoater and he's pretty much useless. A staple to have on OU anyway tbh.

Other Most overhyped or underated aspect this gen so far?

I dont think it's manaphy who is underrated, but I've noticed on Showdown that people like using mons they can easily get within the game. Manaphy is a godsend gift.

    Other Good Cores

true, but I like the extra option of parting shot + aegislash stance dance. makes aegislash exceptionally bulky

    Other Good Cores

Small but effective Gen VI duo, a lot of possibilities for a third mon. Pangoro just syncs so well with Aegislash. Pangoro has 3 weaknesses in the form of Fairy, fight and flying. Aegislash eats it all for breakfast. Pangoro also walls 2 (Dark and ghost) out of 4 weaknesses (ground and fire)...

    Pokémon Greninja

True, in most cases his special side is the better one. However, just like specsmence, there's a certain niche and surprise factor to the other offensive side. I use offensive semi-suicide lead greninja. The thing is, greninja is one of the fastest, strongest U-turn user in Pokémon thanks to...

    Pokémon Venusaur

I agree with Lati@s, but I cant feel your Landorus statement. He doesn't learn a notable air STAB and his EQ's are neutral. Care to elaborate?

    Pokémon Venusaur

I use venusaur on my toxic spikes team and man, he is my MVP a lot of times. Having toxic spikes support frees up your toxic slot and enables de triple recovery combo (synthesis, leech seed, giga drain), while still maintaining a toxic STAB move. In my case I use venoshock, simply because it...

    Pokémon Scizor

Apart from what someone else said about Torkoal not being Rock, a good partner would be Tyrannitar, Rock typing makes sure you don´t get much damage from Talonflames Attacks and STAB Pursuit makes sure you can kill him before he switches out.

    Pokémon Pangoro

Oddly enough, Pangoro learns Infestation. This combined with it's godlike move: Parting Shot, makes Pangoro an excellent Offensive Set-Up Support Tank Pivot... Pfff, that's mouthful. Pangoro @ Leftovers Ability: Iron Fist EVs: 252 HP / ~Your choice of a mix of Att and Def/SpD Adamant - Hammer...

    Pokémon Diggersby

Excuses me OP? Normal/Ground a bad typing? Normal/Ground is only primarely walled by levitating/flying ghost/steel/rock pokemon. Only notable examples are regular Gengar, skarmory or rotom.

    Pokémon Magnezone

I'm using a Magnezone exactly like they use in B/W, in my X/Y Toxic Spikes team. I feel like with the abundance of Genesect and Scizor in Pokebank OU, Magnezone now needs a good mix of SpA and Spe to be able to outspeed AND OHKO these threats. Usually I don't care about not being able to OHKO...

    Move Fell Stinger

Outside of AV, I think it's an interesting move that can be used on an aggressive baton pass team. The thing is, when someone switches in a death fodder, you know almost 100% sure, they'll bring in something that can kill your Mon afterwards. When that happens, you can batonpass out to something...

    Other Critical Hits

Are these mechanic updates implanted in showdown? I would love to try some stuff out but I'm still unsure whether or not it works as intended.

    Other Critical Hits

Well... Duh? You raise your attack...? Or am I misinterpreting this?

    Other Most Improved Pokemon

I feel stoutland deserves some love. Better Attack, less weather opponents makes sand better. STAB Normal only resisted by steel, rock and ghost. Has play rough now to SE against his weakness: fighting. Crunch and Fire-fang to deal with the common gengar, scizor, jellicent, ferrotorn etc. Switch...

    Pokémon Greninja

Still, Toxic Spikes can be build around, while spikes is just a damaging entry hazard. Anyway, I've been using greninja as a semi suicide lead. Toxic Spikes, U-Turn, Shadow Sneak and Water Shuriken with Focus Sash. Set enough spikes and U-turn out. You can always switch in later again with...

    Pokémon Heliolisk

Anyone using him on a SS team? An electric STAB vs. Water type pokemon is already awesome to have on such a team. Slap on more evasion and watch the hydro pumps and focus blasts miss. I'm thinking of adding him to my team.

    Pokémon Trevenant

Chestoresto is almost always better than lum berry variants. Lum sees more use for an offensive variant having to switch in on a t-wave or a WoW and going for the fast K.O.. However, offensive trevenant is bad. Only reason I see that scenario to fit is if you switch in on a rotom wash whom you...
