Brave New World has some hidden gems on there. "Dream of Mirrors" and the opening song "The Wicker Man" are probably my favorites. There's a mix of a lot of average/boring long songs however. "Paschendale" is an amazing song by the way.

I really hope I can attend the American Carnage Tour. I don't really care too much for Slayer. However, Megadeth will be playing Rust in Peace! Anthrax has the wonderful Joey Belladonna as lead vocalist again. If I can't make the American Carnage Tour, I hope I at least get to see Overkill...

I don't have a problem with explicit lyrics, I just find them a lot of the time idiotic. I have no problems with growls or harsh vocals, I just don't like Lamb of God. Sorry dude. If you want to check out S.O.D., the Stormtroopers of Death, get Speak English or Die. Avoid their album after that.
  6. Metalheads United ;D

Iron Maiden are one of the best live bands.

  8. Metalheads United ;D

Along with albums like Possessed's Seven Churches and Death's Scream Bloody Gore, it influenced a lot of death metal. Disagree with me on this, but I believe Morbid Angel's Altars of Madness is the most important (biggest for sure, if not important) influence on death metal. I love the Paul...

    01. Yeah I count them as core 02. Yes their first two albums are great. Their later two are are good, but I won't go out of my way to replay them. Everything after ...And Justice for All is bad. It may be just me, but a lot of Metallica fans, who are still listening to albums after their first...
  10. Metalheads United ;D

Yeah, I'll listen to Show No Mercy, the Haunting the Chapel EP, and Hell Awaits. Reign in Blood is an important album as I stated earlier. But all the songs on that album really sound *too* similar. Not to mention all of Kerry King's solos sound the same. I always thought Jeff Hanneman was the...

I don't like Lamb of God. I hate Pantera with a passion. They are the band that wrote the birth stone for nu metal and all the brocore genres, in my opinion. Vulgar Display of Power is the birth stone. Looking for immature whinny lyrics about how tough you are? Looking for a vocalist who is...
  13. Metalheads United ;D

Yeah, you love Between the Buried and Me. You don't take anything serious. I like Slayer's first two studio albums and the Haunting the Chapel EP. While Reign in Blood is an important album, I don't find replay value in it. A lot of the songs sounded the same. Kerry King's solos all sound the...

Okay please stop Anyone who is a fan of metal, and hates any of Megadeth's first four albums, is trying way too hard to be "different". "Tornado of Souls" is just plain bad ass.

Thrash metal is awful? Yet deathcore isn't?
  16. Metalheads United ;D

Cool father-son moment, still don't care for A7X's music though. Kid's got talent. Just by this video, Mike's a better father than Violent J. xD I don't mean to bad mouth Violent J as a dad, but Violent JJ - Bad Bad Man Note not a fan of ICP. Anyway who's everyone's top four thrash metal...

I wonder what Chris Jericho will do when he retires. Maybe he'll take Jerry Lawler's place as commentator when he retires... Jericho: Talk about me on commentary Michael Cole. Cole: Why would I talk about YOU when there's a match going on Chris? Jericho: Why Cole? I'll tell you WHY? Cole...
  18. Does music have an "effect" to change people in what they do?

A lot of bad music down here in Georgia when it comes to hip hop. At least Outkast doesn't suck though. I always feel that when that crunkcore idiot Lil Jon got popular, mainstream hip hop just became so bad and unbearable.
  19. Does music have an "effect" to change people in what they do?

Because thousands of women did not go on about how hot Lance, Justin, and JC were right? Because all those women were not talking about what these guys were doing in the music videos. Try this same formula with people who don't look all that appealing, I guarantee you people will not be...
  20. Does music have an "effect" to change people in what they do?

People listen to Justin Bieber because of how he looks. Look at the past with Backstreet Boyz, O-Town, New Kids on the Block, Britney Spears. People listen to Rihanna, which I still question. She's going back to her roots? Yeah in interviews back in 2006 you didn't have the stupid accent, now...
