Riding Pokemon is so awesome and seamless. Press Y to access the ride menu, pick your Pokemon, and you ride straight away just like a bike.

The star disappears, but the island is still accessible. Not sure if that's any help. Scan in one of the Blissey bases from the Quickstart to Breeding/Training thread and do it with one of those: they're all Triple Battles with lv100 Blisseys that only know Healing Wish.

A few weeks ago I ran a one-shot session of PTU with my D&D group and my number one piece of advice is to make sure everyone has at least skimmed the combat section of the player's handbook, because battles can end up really lengthy if you're not prepared. Day 29: I had rehearsals all day til 4. Now I will probably nap, play Skyrim, have dinner, and then go and see a bunch of cabaret shows. By that time I will hopefully be exhausted enough to sleep. Then, it begins. Thanks for this countdown thread Stellar. It's been a really nice experience...

Day 28: Mate. It's all about the Bug/Water. A Masquerain MEvo would be rad.

Day 27: Pokemon Bank lets you transfer an entire PC box at once, which is just so damn convenient. I wouldn't call it "exciting" as it's essentially just a utility app but I am glad it's on its way.

Day 26: MegaEvos are pretty cool, it's nice to see some older Pokemon getting a bit of a revamp. I'm more interested to see how they will tie into the story of X&Y: whether they'll be a big part of the main plot or just something extra like the Dream World in Gen V.

Day 25: X because Clauncher.

Day 24: Pink Shellos. Dat smile.

Day 23: Corsola in GSC. I was all "wow a rare coral 'mon!" And then I tried to use one.

Day 22: Morty of Ecruteak Gym. Damnnnnnn.

...I've just done a massive hide-fest on my Facebook news feed because heaps of people were posting in-game screenshots. Avoiding spoilers is proving very tricky! Did they explain Black City / White Forest prior to the Gen V release?

Day 21: I changed shifts at work so that I can get to EB Games first thing in the morning, play all day, then work. If there is a midnight release I will weep with joy.
