M&M Mix and Mega Suspect #5: Marshadow

Not alt but only available username on Showdown : InfinitySlayer8 Vote : Ban Reasoning: Most of the points above say it well enough, but in summary and my experience: Marshadow is extremely versatile with a very adaptable offense game, and while any and every set be it Lucarionite...

    Pokémon Gothitelle

W.r.t. the replay: I'm not quite sold on Future Sight, seeing as after a Sub, Mawile would have KO'd Keldeo easily enough with Play Rough. It could be replaced with T-Wave/Calm Mind to good effect.

    Pokémon Heracross

Agreed, but I find running Heracross with Substitute is most effective, hence one of the two gets dropped. Of course, if its a Hit-and-Run variety, both is pretty nice but it just makes me lose momentum when I have a non-defensive Mega-Evo switching out.

    Pokémon Heracross

The problem with using Heracross is how easily it gets forced out, even with its huge attacking threat. Most sets have either of CC or EQ, never both. Once the opponent figures out which one is missing, he sends the appropriate counter à la Skarmory,Aegislash or whatever. Also, rocks means...

Other Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder: V2

I fought an obvious troll once, who seemed to follow a theme of using the exact opposite niche a Pokemon was meant for. For example: a Ferrothorn with Rock Polish, Flash Cannon and Thunderbolt. A Chansey, holding an Eviolite, with SubPunch. Flare Blitz Volcarona. Choice Specs Gyara with...

    Pokémon Greninja

I sometimes wonder how viable would Greninja be without Protean? Nearly indistinguishable is the first word that comes to mind.

    Pokémon Terrakion

This gen, Aegislash is a bigger threat than Gliscor and Landorus by far. As such, Earthquake is a must on LO sets. Plus Stone Edge still hits for reasonable damage against Gliscor and Lando, breaking the former's Sub with ease. Whereas not running SE leaves you at the mercy of Aegislash.

On Newcastle's current form, my local college team would beat them.

Sunderland defeating us at home, brings back memories of when Gyan, Onuoha and Welbeck beat us few years ago. Bad, bad memories. Well, that's all for the title race, folks.

Well, seeing as Hazard is nominated for YPOTY too, obviously he's favourite to win it. No question, Suarez should win POTY.

Is there anything (not related to Pokemon) that you are one of the best in the world at?

One of the world's best reminds me of a player tag in FIFA 14. Ah, to be a Messi, Ronaldo, Ribery or Zlatan. The problem is that when you're decently rounded in multiple activities like most of us are, its tough to be a "world beater" at a particular one. At least in my case, the closest I've...

    2013/2014 Soccer/Football Thread

YPOTY should really not be for players upwards of say 22 or 23. Its fairly retarded how Sturridge at 24 is in contention for YPOTY. Also, Barkley hasn't really shone consistently this season. Had a bright start, faded away, then came up in short, aperiodic bursts. Someone like Eriksen or Lukaku...

    Pokémon Aegislash

That, plus neither Ferrothorn nor Scizor would be switching into Aegislash.

    Pokémon Aegislash

Klefki is adorably murderous. When I see it lead with dual screens, makes me wish I used Brick Break. I wonder if carrying HP Fire on Aegi has any merits? I don't really see any other use for it, and hence use HP Ice for the time being.

    Pokémon Hoopa

Stealing Eviolite could actually be possible. In fact, why not run a Colbur Berry, I thought, to survive a Dark type move like Knock Off? Turns out, its still OHKO'd by most Knock Offs and Foul Plays ( even Mandibuzz ). So stealing stuff is a lost cause because I'd much rather have my own item...

    UU Fire types

Thanks to Sacred Fire, Arcanine is severely outclassed by Entei now. Heck, chuck ES and Adamant, even without it Entei is much better. And Iron Head could be slashed with Bulldoze?

    Pokémon Keldeo

I agree about the HP Ghost part. I just used it to show that even the weaker Icy Wind does the job better on the CM set. I prefer to run HP Flying or Electric myself.

    Pokémon Hoopa

Psychic and Hyperspace Hole are pretty much the same. Hitting past a Protect is nifty, the extra power from Psychic may be appealing too. But Psyshock is probably better than both of them to hit Blissey/Chansey very hard. +1 252+ SpA Hoopa Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 436-514 (61 -...

    Pokémon Hoopa

Just one question Chesnaught, won't Bisharp always go for the Sucker Punch on Hoopa? Meaning it should never switch into Bisharp. I also think the prevalence of Knock Off and Pursuit in general will murder this guy unless it runs Substitute. Set would look something like: Hoopa @ Leftovers...
