There aren't really clear instructions. From what I've seen on the HG/SS RNG thread, they really can only abuse using save states. (Though, I think someone did it without them)Mostly because of the inconsistency of frame advancing I think.

Why exactly do you subtract 6? EDIT; Monster frame, right. I think you did right but you can use journal flips for an easier time.

The formula for "Total required RNG advances" is target frame - number of wandering Pokémon - 1. For my wondercard My target frame is 3, I have a Mesprit as the only pokemon wandering then I subtract the 1 gives me 2 So I just switch to my "Caught a pokemon page" then exit the Journal and...

How hard is it exactly to play through HG/SS if you wouldnt know any Japanese? I was considering getting it, but dont want to have too much trouble. Or if there are any walkthrough's out for it, that would help too
