  1. A Brilliant Disaster of a Team - RMT

Seems reasonable. I think I'm also going to try Brick Break, since a few people like to run Air Balloon on their Steel types. OK, so the team is doing decently after the changes, 12-5 while testing on PO so far.
  2. A Brilliant Disaster of a Team - RMT

    1. Ok, so SR over....T-Punch or Fake Out? I'm guessing you'd suggest I get rid of T-Punch based on the Underlined portion. 2. Yeah....I was checking the pokemon who resist it, and forgot about Mold Breaker for the moment. My bad. 3. I was going to give it Aura Sphere, but it requires a Rash...
  3. A Brilliant Disaster of a Team - RMT

Umm...Gliscor can't learn Sky Drop, and Shaymin can't learn Recover either (unless you meant 'Recovery Move', it has Rest, which could work thanks to Natural Care). I might need to switch Dragonite though, I can see how the 2 statuses could be a problem.
  4. A Brilliant Disaster of a Team - RMT

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb / Focus Sash Trait: Blaze EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Taunt - Fake Out - Close Combat - ThunderPunch / Flare Blitz / Stealth Rock When looking for a lead, I wanted something that could use Fake Out to break Sashes, as well as take out the three...
  5. MM37: Gen 5 ain't easy.

Dark Pulse instead of which move, Earth Power? And I'll try the Scarf. Night Shade should work. EDIT: Night Shade is definately better than Shadow Punch. Adding a scarf appearently makes it unable to OHKO Ferrothorn, d*** that thing is good.
  6. MM37: Gen 5 ain't easy.

Bump. Also, I'll be adding to the threats as I notice more.
  7. MM37: Gen 5 ain't easy.

Some of you may remember me from Gen 4, I had a few RMT's. Most of you won't. Ambipom (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Technician EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Fake Out - U-turn - Double Hit - Pursuit My lead: Ambipom does a pretty good job at starting off the battles...
  8. Return of a Nobody - Megamaster's OU Team

Oh,I thought he meant ScarfRachi when he said "Revenge Killer". Scarfrachi is still a no since my main priority is to set up SR, but I'll look for a good combination withIron head, since my chances of Flinching Magnezone to death are probably extremely low, Drain punch seems like my best...
  9. Return of a Nobody - Megamaster's OU Team

I like to win my battles with Skill, not luck. If you like winning with Luck, I suggest you go to a Casino. SD over Mach Punch too? Scizor is way too common, everyone has 2 or more Counters for it on their team. I'll test SD on Ape and see how well it does.
  10. Return of a Nobody - Megamaster's OU Team

I know, weird title. Anyway, this is my new (and hopefully improved) OU Team. I want you nice (or not) people of neo to help me make it better. Jirachi @ Lum Berry Timid - 148 Speed/252 SpA/108 HP Stealth Rock Thunder Wave Hidden Power Fighting Psychic A simple Lead Jirachi set. A lot of...
  11. OU - Tiers are merely Suggestions.

I prefer Life Orb over Specs so I'm not stuck on Thunderbolt or Shadow Ball. Besides, 319 with LO is pretty strong. Heracross...well, having both SR and Megahorn on the same set just screems disaster, as with my luck I'll never get too many KO's. I'll try it, but I may need a Third option.
  12. OU - Tiers are merely Suggestions.

Miltank @ Lum Berry Careful- 252 HP/32 Def/176 SpDef/48 Speed Scrappy Thunder Wave Stealth Rock Counter Return/Seismic Toss This Miltank lead is here to take care of the opposing lead, and get up rocks. Faster leads like Gengar and Scarfrachi will not like being paralyzed, and when they lose...
  13. New and 'creative' moveset/EV spread thread Mk. 5

Jirachi learns DynamicPunch from Third Gen tutors. Also, I'd like some comments on my OU Miltank lead now thats it's been tested. Miltank @ Lum Berry Careful - 252 HP/32 Def/176 SpDef/48 Speed Scrappy Thunder Wave Stealth Rock Counter Return/Seismic Toss So far, this set has proven that...
  14. New and 'creative' moveset/EV spread thread Mk. 5

I've tested this set for a bit, and it works pretty well: Miltank UU Lead Miltank @ Leftovers Jolly - (128 HP/166 Att/216 Speed) Scrappy Thunder Wave/Stealth Rock/Return/Brick Break The goal of this set is simple: Thunder Wave the opponent if you can survive an attack, and Stealth Rock if you...
  15. New and 'creative' moveset/EV spread thread Mk. 5

OK, so that set wasn't too great. Here's one thats underwent much more testing, and has shown that its easily something you don't want to meet up with. Modest Yanmega @ Choice Scarf Tinted Lens IVs: 30/31/31/31/31/31 (252 Sp.Att/208 Speed/50 HP) Hidden Power (Dragon 70) /Air Slash/Bug...
  16. New and 'creative' moveset/EV spread thread Mk. 5

Jirachi Moveset Name: Jirachi Wall and Attacker Move 1: Wish Move 2: Cosmic Power Move 3: Thunderpunch Move 4: Ice Punch Item: Leftovers Ability: Serene Grace Nature(s): Jolly EVs: 162 Att/100 Def/100 Sp.Def/148 Speed Jirachi's defensive capabilities seem to have been ignored by almost everyone...

Thanks. appearent;y everything on my Team is in the top 30.
  18. Good Team isn't Good Enough

It is? I never see it in used. Of course, I usually battle over on Neoseeker because I can't find any Tournament sign-ups here. Where can I find this list your talking about?
  19. Good Team isn't Good Enough

First off, this is a WiFi team for Pokemon Platinum. I say this because I don't want a million posts saying to put in some egg move because it's not possible. It's not shoddy, so I can't simply type in a move an get it. Anyway, now for my team: Lead: Multiple Options Why that title? Because I...
  20. Team UU-SubCrazy (Needs Major Improvements)

Well let's see, assuming that only Shedninja can be used in UU and is never actually used, it can't possibly be better than it. If you really want to go through the list and pick out all the OU/Uber/BL pokes, go ahead, but I have better things to do. But, since everyone is suggesting it, I...
