  1. UU Balance

Rightio, will try Gligar over Murkrow, and thanks for pointing out the Rash nature thing. Suicune's been changed. Mismagius can Pain Split if the fighting type happens to be using something that's not DynamicPunch/ Close Combat (pretty rare except in the case of Heracross who might be using...
  2. UU Balance

Though I admit it's probably leaning more towards the defensive side. First thing's first, I haven't tested this yet. I'm posting it on here to smooth out any initial glaring weaknesses before I do so. AT-A-GLANCE Deoxys-D@Leftovers Bold nature 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 SpD Recover Seismic Toss...
  3. Riveinn's UU RMT

A team with two fire types and a flying type really can't be doing without a spinner. Also, if Chandelure's not useful, don't use it. Team slots are too precious to be wasted on something which is only situationally useful. Also, why have a tank, which is definsive, without a recovery move...
  4. How To Lose a UU Battle by Metamaster

I don't think simply adding a Bisharp does not alleviate your dark/ ghost weakness, especially in a tier Chandelure, Spiritomb and Mismagius all call home. Heracross appears to actually be the better at disposing of them than Bisharp... I agree with Moo on Bisharp - get Sucker Punch in there...
  5. Arcanine

90-80-80 defenses aren't exactly frail, a 110-100-95 are a pretty decent set of offensive stats too. I don't know what kind of move you're looking for if a 120 base power STAB isn't good enough for you and Fire-Fighting-Electric deals with most things effectively. Also, it isn't necessarily rain...
  6. My very first RMT be kind

Hmm...Since you've thrown a Salamence and Umbreon in there, this makes it an OU team. Given this, Torkoal and Mantine are basically redundant. Bothof them'll get knocked out as soon as they switch in. Heatran makes a good Scizor counter, as does Rotom-H and if you're after a water-type sweeper...
  7. I suspect that it will rain (OU/Suspect RMT.

Hmm...If you don't mind me saying, I think Rain Dance Ludicolo is much more effective than Swift Swim variant, not to mention annoying. Also, was there a reason for Waterfall on Kingdra? It's that that means you have to lose speed EVs to make room for attack.
  8. Balance RMT: My first OU team.

-possibly reserved for a threat list- Note: Just done a first trial and realized I need a psychic counter. Was basically screwed over by Azelf xD Any suggestions?
  9. Balance RMT: My first OU team.

This is not my first team, but my first OU team. My others have been UU teams. I get a bit jittery trialing teams, so I figured I'd post an RMT beforehand. At-A-Glance Aerodactyl@Focus Sash Jolly nature 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP Stealth Rock Taunt Earthquake Whirlwind Lead, obvs. I don't...
  10. Super Blaziken Bros. [UU RMT, Peaked 1329 CRE]

There seem to be an awful lot of electric and ghost moves ...Perhaps you should give up a few for the sake of more variety?
  11. UU RMT: International

Aha, thedarklord33, you just summed up my theme xD I mentioned it before; bulky offence. Like you say, using Pokémon who are 'meant to wall' with decent offensive stats also ^_^ For example, Tangrowth who has that awesome 125 defence stat also have an excellent 100 attack stat. And Milotic who...
  12. Team ShatterDawn [NU RMT]

Pretty damn decent team. Only one niggle though; I don't think Slowking's in NU anymore, however, I reckon Politoed might make an acceptable equivalent.
  13. UU RMT: International

I felt I needed to explain why I rejected some of my choices: Ice Beam kept on Milotic because of the prevalence of Venusaur and Dugtrio nowadays. I'm considering taking you up on what you said about Tangrowth now. It'd only mean changing one move, after all, and it could keep Tangrowth...
  14. Triple Threat (NU, Peaked at #1 on the ladder)

...How did this happen? Is Stealth Rock not a bother in NU? Also, you needed a Slowking (Slowking's in UU now, so it's not such a bother) counter, Slowking usually carrying surf, so you chose a ground type? Does anybody else find this completely illogical? if you want something with a strong...
  15. RMT - My first team, Pleas help!

Hey, guy, this team was designed for UU. You're talking about OU.
  16. UU RMT: International

    Oh, and also, I just checked the listing to discover that Umbreon's back in OU =/ EDIT: And Raikou's no longer in UU, so I'm safe ^^;
  17. UU RMT: International

Well that's fair enough (to both points xD), but both Donphan and Tangrowth have Earthquake to help with the Raikou situation? Admittedly, there's a chance Raikou'll outspeed and kill Tangrowth, but it can't really do an awful lot to Donphan unless it runs the necessary Hidden Powers...Which it...
  18. UU RMT: International

Well hi there ^.^ I chose Choice Scarf to give Uxie more of a speed boost, but you're right, I can get that speed boost and then trick it out, though I would rather replace U-Turn than Psychic so I don't become Taunt-bait. Thanks for the suggestion =] I shall replace Crunch with Morning Sun...
  19. UU RMT: International

International...So named because it has at least one Pokémon from each of the in-game regions...Yes, I didn't put much thought into the name ^^; At-A-Glance The team is largely built up of bulky sweepers who have access to utility moves. An overall lack of speed could viewed as a...
  20. Bird Domination! A UU Rmt!

Errkay...Here goes... I don't think Registeel is the best lead. Typically, leads are fast and there are tonnes of anti-lead Pokémon out there (Ampibom, for example) who'll Taunt Registeel before he has a chance to do anything. The next problem is with Shadow Ball; most of said anti-leads are...
