  1. Gen 6 Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire Mega Evo discussion

I wonder if bulky distributions work better for weakness policy Mega Ray. Too lazy to run the numbers, but it might allow you to switch into a SE attack and trigger the stat buffs to get you going earlier. Alternatively it could help with survivability as you're buffing up. I suspect that you'd...

Second this. Just bait PDon to throw out a fire attack and switch in with the water immunity. With Desolate Land neutralized and the 4X weakness exposed PDon is forced to switch, which either allows you to buff with CM or murder the next switch with Origin Pulse/Water Spout.
  4. Eelektross

Not everything's about speed. This thing is reasonably bulky if you invest in its defenses. I can see it being a good support with selective sweeping potential, a bit like Swampert with higher attack.
  5. Excadrill

Sandthrow's still better. You get a free SD on the switch in which means x2 speed and attack.
  6. Blaziken

This is similar to the Nasty Plot Infernape set I'm running right now, but better. Give it +sp att full EVs, switch in on something that wants to switch out, and SD, giving you +2 att and +1 speed, and then proceed to tear apart everything they try to switch in as a counter.

    Recoil Emboar with shell bell.
  8. Emboar

What if you give it shell bell.
  9. Archeops

    What about shell bell?
  10. Archeops

That's why I think it would fit well as an attack lead. Start off hitting hard, ridiculously hard. A priority user switching in could take a pretty big blow. Insofar as I know no major priority users resists its two STABs and if they send one in as a vengeance killer you just switch out.

I wonder how effective a sub reversal set would work on blaziken...
  12. Archeops

If weak-kneed really does only halve attack, you could give it a petaya to switch it from a mixed to special sweeper.

Where are you guys getting the item lists?
  14. Sheer Force

I wonder if they boost Earthquake and Surf, since they both have an effect on the opponent (double damage for divers/diggers).
  15. Pokemon that benefit the most from Dream World (They see me Update'n,)

Oh, and Lucario just got more scary. It now switches into dark type attacks with impunity, and gets a sp(?) att boost.
  16. Pokemon that benefit the most from Dream World (They see me Update'n,)

Feraligatr gets Encourage, and with the speed boost from water goggles (I guess it depends on how much of a boost), this thing could finally abuse a SD set sweeping with boosted moves, or run a DD set with benefits over Gyarados. Edit: Though I guess that depends on which moves can get boosted...
