of course not, I just haven't been on in awhile. (as you can see.... I' posting this on the 19th haha!)
  2. Smogon University PO Statistics — March 2012

This, whether it introduces move tutors, or new formes or whatever. Also, I wonder if Keldeo will shake up the metagame, I highly doubt it, but who knows. Especially depending on the tutorable moves that BW2 introduces
  3. Smogon University PO Statistics — Feburary 2012

What's so good about Samurott that has made him up to 12 in NU? Is NU really THAT lacking in water types that Samurott becomes.... good? Also.... Keep Magmortar away from RU! no no no! He's happy in NU.
  4. Jynx Discussion

That's true, but because of Jynx's cruddy def and weakness to sucker punch she'll be revenged killed much easier than Lilligant is, not to mention the speed and SpD boost granted by Quiver Dance makes Lilligant MUCH harder to revenge kill with a scarf user and her decent defense and access to...
  5. Jynx Discussion

seems like Jynx is outclassed by Lilligant due to similar stats only Lilligant has the better boosting move and typing, but Jynx gets better attacking options and nasty plot. I like a focus sash set with Lovely Kiss, Nasty Plot, Ice Beam and Psyshock. (Guess the EV's and nature.) It's a good...
  6. Mandibuzz Discussion

well with the tier shifts and bannings Mandibuzz is a lot cooler. being able to taunt pretty much all walls due to her solid 80 speed for a wall and chipping away at health with toxic is pretty cool. Stealth Rock is still a problem but she's constantly the most consistent wall on my team. She...
  7. Smogon University PO Statistics — January 2012

I'm really not surprised that Claydol is number one in RU, at first I thought (wow really? is a rapid spinner so important they reach number 1?) but his overall utility is quite... good! Unique niche typing, Rapid Spin, Stealth Rock, and Levitate is all he needs to do his job. He also has solid...
  8. don't worry, it's never too late for me haha! Happy New Year to you too!!! Make it a good one.

  9. Smogon University PO Statistics — December 2011

ah finally, Whimsicott is in a tier where it belongs. It's pretty much useless, except stun sporing sweepers and doing the useless SubSeed combo. With Bouffalant and Sawsbuck being pretty common and Lilligant being a popular choice, I doubt Whimsicott will live long in this tier.
  10. np: NU Stage 0 - For What It's Worth

Leafeon's an awesome pokemon, and so are Jynx and Rotom-S. Hopefully they rise in usage after the tier shifts
  11. Volbeat discussion thread

Volbeat the red-haired Firefly Volbeat is certainly a very fun Pokemon to use! We all know how he can pass Tail Glows and whatnot, but let's see what else this little guy can accomplish! Sets: Volbeat@ Leftovers Bold Nature | 252 HP / 252 Def - Substitute - Encore / Thunder Wave - Tail Glow...
  12. Gen V Initial NU Metagame Thread

Yea, Leafeon is amazing honestly. It has a base 90 speed which is really good for the tier, and a beastly base 130 Def bundled together with an attack of 110. Swords Dance, Baton Pass, Leaf Blade, X-scissor is my favorite set because whatever you can't handle, you can baton pass an SD to something.
  13. Smogon University PO Statistics — November 2011

hell yea! November stats, now that we got the NU tier settled and all our tiers had time to settle after the October shake-up, I'll be glad to see what pokemon are the used the most and what not, time to stare at this for hours lol Edit: I'm glad Jynx and Torterra have gotten more usage in NU...
  14. Gen V Initial NU Metagame Thread

Musharna is also an amazing stop to Sawk the most Earthquake will be doing is about 25% to max def and HP Musharna, that and musharna is really good to begin with being bulkier (and I think stronger...) than Mesprit. However, he doesn't have as much speed or utility.
  15. Gen V Initial NU Metagame Thread

Lead Jynx beats lead Smeargle pretty much 75% of the time without him being able to setup hazards, Lead Jynx is one of the best leads imo. I use sash personally with lovely kiss / Nasty Plot / Psyshock / Ice Beam. She has yet to dissapoint!
  16. Gen V Initial NU Metagame Thread

yea I can agree with that. Sub CM Mesprit rocks. I run boltbeam as my attacks but sometimes I wish I had psychic ha ha!
  17. Gen V Initial NU Metagame Thread

I just realized how psychic dominated this tier is. There's so many options it's not even funny. With each psychic type doing a different job. I often find myself with two psychics on my team lol
  18. Gen V Initial NU Metagame Thread

surprisingly enough, Seismic Toss is an egg move for Volbeat. But yea, overall BP'ing Tail Glows is the best it can do. Simipour is a pretty good recipient, nice speed, and a great movepool with HP Grass so it can hit them dang quagsires and other water types.
  19. Gen V Initial NU Metagame Thread

That's true ha ha. there's also Volbeat and Illumise.... let's pretend these posts don't exist anymore lol. I don't wanna see any rain / sun teams (I only saw one which was a decent sun team, not too good...) On a side note, anyone try an annoyer Volbeat? Volbeat has encore, confuse ray /...
  20. Gen V Initial NU Metagame Thread

Yea, I thought Wartortle would be pretty good. Yawn, Scald, Rapid Spin. However... He's kinda dissapointing. IMO this tier seems to be balanced but leans more towards bulky sweepers and setup sweepers (though stall does fantastic) With gems like Huntail, Gorebyss, Torterra, and Klinklang. Heck...
