  1. Breloom

TechniLoom looks interesting, and the classic SporePuncher set will wreak havoc.
  2. Vengeance

Somewhat gimmicky imo, but is worth testing.
  3. Rapidash - The Fire Horse Pokemon

Looks interesting, but I agree that Arcanine still outclasses Rapidash, though it still has it's uses and niches.
  4. Chandelure

Shandera makes a great revenger with Shadow Tag and 145 base Sp Atk, and a great boosting sweeper as well. Looking forward to seeing it in action in Gen V.
  5. Gallade

Sorry, I'll get that done shortly.
  6. Gallade

Everything has been updated. If you have any more opinions and / or suggestions, feel free to post!
  7. Ubers: Why not?

Of course there always are surprises, but what I'm trying to point out is that there's usually repetition when you battle. Things that do well in the tier are usually things that aren't outclassed. Kingdra is used in ubers even though it's outclassed statwise by Palkia because of it's unique...
  8. Gallade

Gallade will wreak havoc in the lower tiers, but the new ghosts and monsters going around in Gen V isn't going to help it out at all.
  9. Gallade

Gallade Psychic / Fighting 68 / 125 / 65 / 65 / 115 / 80 Steadfast: Whenever Gallade Flinches, Gallade's Speed is raised by one stage. (Dream World) Righteous Heart: Raises Gallade's Attack by one stage after it is damaged by a Dark-type attack. Although Gallade faces very tough...
  10. Tangrowth

Regeneration is an awesome addition for Tangrowth, greatly aiding it's defensive capabilities. I can see it has promising potential in this new generation. A wall with Regeneration, a Chlorophyll sweeper, or even a Leaf Guard wall in the sun are all possibilities.
  11. Gorebyss

Adamant Max Attack Toxicroak deals 40% - 47.3% with Sucker Punch (assuming White Herb negates the defense drops), while with the defense drops, it deals only 60% - 70.8%, whereas Gorebyss can easily OHKO with Ice Beam or Psychic. Actually, the rain boosts water type attacks by 50%, which is x...
  12. Magcargo

Breakable Armor (dream world only): When hit by a physical attack your defense decreases 1 stage, but speed increases 1 stage. Balloon provides a Levitate effect, therefore it is immune to ground type attacks until it is attacked, which means it is not hit. Switching Magcargo into a ground...
  13. Accelgor

+1 Hidden Power Ice deals 51% - 60.2% to 0 HP 0 Sp Def Gengar, and 73.4% - 86.5% to 12 HP 32 Sp Def Drifblim, clean 2HKOs. Hidden Power Ice's main reason is to hit flying types which resist Bug Buzz and Focus Blast. It's recommended you have Gengar / Drifblim eliminated before sweeping as they...
  14. Accelgor

Opinions on a SubPetaya set? Agirudaa @ Petaya Berry Ability: Unburden Modest Nature 252 Sp Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Def ~Substitute ~Bug Buzz ~Focus Blast ~Hidden Power Ground / Ice Any opinions on this set on whether or not it will be viable in the upcoming metagame? After 3 Subs (or 2...
  15. Magcargo

Magcargo, completely forgotten about in Gen IV. Fortunately, with it's new toys in Shell Break and Breakable Armor, it has potential to sweep, though shallow.
  16. Gorebyss

Yeah, with a Shell Break boost and Swift Swim under rain, this thing will be incredibly hard to revenge. Basically, in one turn (under rain), it gets +2 Attack, +2 Special Attack, and +4 Speed. Incredible.
  17. Bisharp

A Swords Dance set with Sucker Punch is promising on paper, but we've yet to see Kirikizan's impact on the metagame.
  18. Eviolite

    All right, thanks for confirming.
  19. Eviolite

This item is quite interesting, making NFEs, especially Porygon2, bulker, with the defense boosts (hopefully x 1.5).
  20. Sheer Force

This is a pretty interesting ability. Too bad it's slightly more biased to special moves, whereas the abusers are mainly physical.
