  1. Blastoise

hmm wow... ya I guess your right about gen 1 dual typing, I was a little kid that didn't pay close attention to types at that time. But what got me confused is Magneton because I do remember him picking up steel type in Gen 2 and thinking what the heck! So... a pokemon with metal cannons in my...
  2. Blastoise

doesn't matter steel didn't exist, dual typing didn't exist either... Venasaur and Charizard got their second types after Gen 1, after steel was brought in Gen 2. And yeah I guess shell smash would be too much, it would catapult him so much higher than where he is now
  3. Blastoise

why didn't they make Blastoise Steel/Water? Venasaur and Charizard got second typings and Blastoise has freaking metal cannons! and looks more metal than Empoleon. And secondly why not shell smash? He has a freaking shell! and with his spread stats and movepool I would love to see how he runs...
  4. Sharpedo (Analysis)

and why would anyone be dumb enough to leave in their pokemon that is weak to sparpedos STAB? w/e I just don't think he is OU worthy, i mean good for you guys for being able to keep this thread alive and having the moderator's give you some slack
  5. Sharpedo (Analysis)

no... he can't even sweep well in the OU, over half of anyone's team can take a hit from him and once he strikes without a KO he is dead. oooh ouch 95 Special and 120 physical... sure 120 is nice, not great, and where is the boost? nowhere because his movepool sucks too
  6. Sharpedo (Analysis)

i don't think he is OU worthy, I would love it if my opponet used Sparpedo... waaste of a team slot
  7. Sharpedo (Analysis)

we have a thread in the OU for Sharpedo?! and Blasoise's got taken down? are you kidding, he can get taken out with a single priority move he is so fragile and his ability is great but he has to survive one round (which isn't likely) for it to take effect.
  8. Blastoise (Placeholder)

the other blastoise thread had a good rapid spin lead
  9. Vaporeon

question: can vaporeon whirlpool an enemy and then batton pass to another pokemon and the enemy still be trapped by whirlpool?
  10. Vaporeon (Analysis)

mean look doesn't hurt the enemy inbetween turns, thats why i am considering it. I don't care if you don't like it, don't post it, but this is a thread to discuss possibilities and I have questions for different unique possibilities that haven't been tried. I still haven't gotten an affirmative...
  11. Blastoise (Analysis) [QC 0/3]

Here is a interesting idea for a stall blastoise 1. toxic 2. protect 3. mirror coat 4. surf/ hydro pump Put all the EVs in HP and Def so he is rock solid on the defense side and when they try to come at you with special they'll get a surprise with mirror coat
  12. Vaporeon (Analysis)

hmm that is interesting, I wonder if it is possible to have whirlpool then. Whirlpool + toxic + protect + wish=equals a deadly stall
  13. Vaporeon (Analysis)

whirlpool Whirlpool's Power and Accuracy were increased to 35 and 85, and now lasts for four to five turns. In addition, if the user of Whirlpool is holding a Pressure Band, it inflicts 1/8 of the target's maximum HP instead of 1/16 when the target is trapped. this is even more interesting...
  14. Vaporeon (Analysis)

ya, the biggest question i have is if whirlpool's effect still lasts when the user switches out b&w, if the effect doesn't last then the whole plan is flawed... but if they changed that in b&w then I would use it to ploy in an enemy and then set up my sweeper. so does anyone know if whirlpool...
  15. Vaporeon (Analysis)

oooh, ya i totally forgot about accuracy, but actually its accuracy in bw is 85% now, so thats better, but i figured it was 100%. Hmmm I also found out that at least in the 4th gen whirlpool's effects stop when the user switches out so that puts a huge hole in my idea, unless that fact changed...
  16. Gallade (Analysis)

well there is also vacuum wave... but thats not much better
  17. Vaporeon (Analysis)

yes, i know... but throw them into a whirlpool and then switch in a sweeper who can handle that counter and start to set up. Vaporeon has the bulk to take some hits while it uses whirlpool and then a wish/baton-pass. and if you have already used acid armor when the counter comes in, whirlpool...
  18. Vaporeon (Analysis)

Hey I had an idea for vaporeon that i haven't ever seen anyone mention: Whirlpool. Whirlpool might be a great move for a batton pass/wish switch because it can help set up your next pokemon. Vaporeon can trap the enemy of your choice so that it is easier for your next sweeper to set up, plus in...
  19. Blaziken (Analysis)

Overheat isn't legal to have with a dream-world blaziken huh? and vacuum wave too... thats too bad
  20. Toxicroak (QC Approved 2/2)

ok wait... how is toxicroak bulky?
