  1. Other RMT Battle Spot Hoenn Starter Core

Don't see a lot of people doing this but after spending some time, I decided to use the starters as my core since the fire-water-grass triangle often covers all the types. I am using 2 megas, not to mention 2 others that could potentially mega evolve, to keep my options open since I only choose...
  2. XY OU Help With Bulky Team New to pokemon

May I suggest using mega Hera or aggron to replace venusaur? You don't have many physical walls, I mainly think these are suitable for your team as their fire weakness can be covered by heatran. I'd choose hera for it's better attack versatility but that that being said, it is very prone to...
  3. OU Team Special focused but well rounded

First of all: thanks heaps the suggestions these are very useful BUT Gengar does have a lot of immunities but it's the surprise element that makes counter work so well. From my experience, this set has been much more successful than the set you have suggested (I used to use that). I'd also...
  4. OU Team Special focused but well rounded

Deep Apologies, I could not be bothered to put up pretty pictures. Round in the title is also an intended pun... KeKeKe (Gengar) (M) @ Focus Sash Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Destiny Bond - Shadow Ball - Protect - Counter More of a utility than a sweeper...
  5. My First Team

your rotom would still work if you use trick first then and if you lead with it, generally though, choice scarf is more safe. also lucario isn't made to be a tank, and mixed lucario doesn't fair well in ou. either go sword dance and take out aurasphere for crunch/firepunch or keep nasty plot...
  6. Sun Team (i hope i'm able to post this)

Heatran isn't a problem. I've never encountered any problems as it is always switched in from nine tails. This is where hypnosis and hiddenpower come to play. Also Tangrowth has speed doubled in Sun, providing enough speed to use earthquake/sleep powder on Heatran. but thanks for trying guys...
  7. French Team With Dragonnite

Iron plate on scizor isn't quite as good as choice band as it only boosts bullet punch. why not use left overs since you are using swords dance?
  8. Nice Balanced Team (OU)

Mind your language ~ "My lead. He is fucking awesome." but afterall, it is awesome. Don't you think you should give a bit more bulk to Celebi considering that you want to use baton pass? I've also though that maybe, just maybe, you would like to replace earthpower with Thunderwave. But...
  9. Sun Team (i hope i'm able to post this)

After some further team testing, NahimC provided the greater solution for changing Volcarona. Changes made: Volcarona's Psychic is now HP Rock This takes care of dragonites, other volcaronas, gyarados and some other troublesome flying types. Oh and yeah, don't go on about heatrans anymore...
  10. The Crustle that Flailed to get attention

this thread is now deleted(or so i tried)
  11. Super Crustle

I didn't see anyone posting any crustle suggestions so i went to the trouble of testing my own. Right now, this is the set that I've been testing quite successfully: Crustle @ Custap Berry/Salac Berry Trait: Sturdy EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Shell Smash - Flail -...
  12. Path of the Beast

why toxic orb on hariyama? works better with flame orb. burn doesn't increase damage as turns pass by and also doesn't lower your attack because of guts! but otherwise it is a great team.
  13. One of my first UU teams

moxie heracross is a better option. especially with the scarf. you can get attack boosts while being locked into one move with a good speed. you might want to give it a try
  14. fairly well balanced team

really love to use Gengar for this team but unfortunately it is two powerful. not saying it's a bad thing because after all, he has been in OU since the beginning of pokemon. Donphan (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Endeavor - Rapid Spin...
  15. UU team Zephyr

    why razor claw? better options can be lefties and NastyPlot or choice scarf if you're making it full offence.;
  16. Mewtwo (Analysis)

i find calm mind recover set a lot more effective as it can then last longer in battle and deal more OHKO's. the set is pretty much the same as spcial attacker only that i use recover instead of flamethrower/fire blast as Aura sphere still covers steels like scizor and forteress.
  17. [Place Creative and Witty Name To This Extremely Long Title Here]

the thing is why would you send a conkeldur out to sponge special attacks when you have many better pokemon to wall it off e.g. skarm and mzone. with TheGreatMilenko 's spread of stats, you can pull off a few revenge kills
  18. Help a noob here!

you're machamp is better off having bullet punch instead of substitute because you can kill those lucky focus sashers and fear pokemon. you can also at least do damage to a gliscor and hope for a crit to kill after stealth rock. but if you're versing a gliscor, my first choice would be to switch...
  19. Help a noob here!

roaring heatrans are a rare sight indeed but there would be a reason to that. roar has a -1 priority (i think) and all sweeper leads out there are able to at most 2HK a heatran even with balloon. heatran also has more potential for sweeping rather than phazing by switching in on fire attacks...
  20. Desert Survival

also excadrill will be useless if it gets burnt by suprise.
