Kangaskhanite Tiering Discussion [+Demographics Poll Added to OP]

Why? Because it's cool, and having your entire team do it would significantly dilute the coolness. That's about it. Are Megas supposed to be better than most pokemon? Sure, but only when you remember that "most pokemon" includes Farfetch'd and Luvdisc. If they absolutely have to require another...

    Sticky X/Y Sprite Project

Showdown's Shiny Talonflame's colors are really off, Layell. Too much magenta/red. http://imgur.com/tyb4HfI Picture I took myself, colors are very slightly washed out.

I made an egg calculator for breeding.

Yes, please let me know what it is that you find confusing, exactly? Sorry.

Does the anime give a bad reputation to Pokemon?

A game made in storybook example would seem to back that point up, sword thrust through forehead or not. I mean, even Disney has its dark moments.

I made an egg calculator for breeding.

Requires a Google Account, as I don't have a website these days. Calculations are to the best of my ability.

    Move Stealth Rock

I can confirm it does, Tyrunt even starts with it.

    Other Critical Hits

No, it's not due to Pokemon-Amie. Testers have either used no affection mons or done it via Wi-Fi. Basic crit rate is the same as before, Focus Energy, Stick, and moves with increased crit chance have much more consistent benefits than before.

    Move Misty/Electric/Grassy Terrain

Makes more sense if it's defending, really. So far they're all defensive benefits that flyers can't make use of, not things intended to punish non-flyers. And a land-based dragon counter when most of the dragons fly makes no sense.

    Move Sticky Web

I see no reason it wouldn't work exactly the same as Spikes - when gravity is in effect, then flyers are hit by the grounded hazards.

    Pokémon Talonflame

Gets a guaranteed OHKO on Skarmory after SR even with its abysmal 74 Sp. Atk (going off of Serebii's stats, they seem more accurate - you won't hear me say that very often) which Flare Blitz can't guarantee even with Life Orb. (Possible want to go with Rash (+SpA,-SpD) if you really need it to...

    Data Updated Base Stats

Pikachu is ostensibly a "middle" evolution now, but was ~100 stat points behind a starter's middle form, even though it's the mascot. I found the damn thing intolerably annoying to use in a BW2 playthrough where I was delaying final evolution. 20 more points isn't saving it by the end of the...

    Other Evasion

And it won't like Feint Attack while that's happening. Okay. Making cherry pick arguments is (and I mean this with the most possible respect) not the most convincing approach, because we can play that all day. Boots on the ground will prove much more than randomly throwing out examples that can...

    Other Evasion

Right now, as an electric attack, we have the following options for most pokemon: Shock Wave Thunderbolt Thunder (under rain) Thunder Punch Wild Charge Discharge Discharge has good distribution, but many of the ones who get it have historically not had the durability to survive and take the...

    Other Evasion

It's telling of what, exactly? Shock Wave is horribly unviable in every generation, yes. The question was framed in such a way to suggest that everything that's been brought up would be insufficient to counter Klefki, whose defenses are only illustrative of why, if you really wanted to prepare...

    Other Evasion

Keen Eye, Roosting Braviary pops every sub. So do Special Attackers with Shockwave. Anything with Aura Sphere, especially Togekiss, who can Roost. Roaring and Whirlwinding ignores subs.

    Data Updated Base Stats

Not a bad improvement for Raichu, too bad it still suffers from a relatively tiny movepool. It doesn't even get a fairy move, and I really think it should have.

    Move Misty/Electric/Grassy Terrain

I am almost positive that Electric attacks are 50% boosted under Electric Terrain, Clemont's Magneton hit MUCH harder while that move was in effect. Can't test it myself atm.

    Other Evasion

I'd never run a double team strat, but where practical, I think it is a good thing if the Smogon meta can include more of what is allowed in the actual game. Not to mention, I like the idea of Keen Eye mons actually having a use, especially in lower tiers. Keen Eye, Roar, Whirlwind, Haze...

    Pokémon Talonflame

I think priority Tailwind immediately before death in a game with Sticky Web will prove to be immensely useful. A lot of the slower Megas appreciate that a lot.

    Pokémon Delphox

I don't know why we're even discussing this, this is obviously a ruse.
