Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Buying a relevant item that shuts down 1/5th of their team is a very good move. If I'm playing against a competent Malz/WW, QSS is a definite buy. It's also good when you're playing against a team with a large number of hard CC.
@^: Stack Doran's Blades until you feel like you're at a good...
I second the Magnezone suggestion. There's no reason to have that many physical sweepers, plus you need more type coverage. Three Pokemon on your team have EQ.
I have a ProGrip. I got it to strengthen my hands for barre chords on the guitar, but it's also just fun to squeeze when you're doing homework or something.
Oh man, someone else has heard of The Bird and the Bee. Love them.
the xx is my go to sad music. I also have a few mp3s of people complaining about troubles worse than mine.
If you're playing a competent team, they'll definitely take CC (making Mercs a good choice) and they definitely won't chase Singed, making BoS kinda useless because it offers no damage mitigation. I'd definitely take Flash/Ghost.
I just started playing after taking a 2 week break for finals and stuff. Anyone wanna play? IGN: iforgot120
If we have a lot of people playing this game, we should start a Smogon chat room in game.
Also, Singed really doesn't need BoS. Mercs is better if only for the MR. You don't necessarily...
DW Leafeon is released the 19th; possible replacement for Sawsbuck? Base stats are better than Sawsbuck, but can't learn Jump Kick and won't get STAB from DE (or Return). Leafeon does get Leaf Blade and X-Scissor, though.
Are the boosts from Shell Smash necessary? If you replace it with Spikes, that gives the team some hazard support, too.
(Also, is Spd Special Defense or Speed?)
