As good a sweeper Excadrill is, I agree; Haxchomp is a threat to your team with the right opportunity to Sub up. Those hazards support can make up for your loss of power from losing Excadrill. Psychics and Ghost/Darks can be dealt with by your other members. Focus Blast can let Reuniclus...

Victini's stays in UU. What. Haxorus usage > Mence surprised me; Starmie being top 16 did, too, seeing as it has a lot of threats in the Gen. 5 meta. I know it gives Spin support for Volcarona and the like and helps with the spike of Fighting mons, but 16?

Agreed. Crucial Hax moments aside, being able to revenge BulkyNite and Haxchomp has been a blessing. Even for an inexperienced player, this team was very solid and fun to use on PO. I really recommend this Gengar set. Survives enough to support the team throughout the game.
