  1. OU Simple Questions, Simple Answers (Read the OP First!)

What happened to Bulk Up Breloom? I remember it was the no.1 set towards the end of BW1 and now it doesn't even have an analysis anymore. I haven't had the chance to try it in BW2 since I'm not at home these days, but I can't imagine it being that awful that it's not viable anymore at all.
  2. Gen 5 The OU Viability Ranking thread

I agree with moving Vaporeon to B. First of all, Hydration is a ridiculous ability. Not only is Vaporeon a bulky wall with with Wish, a phazing move and the ever so broken Scald, it also cannot be statused under rain and can heal itself to from 1 HP to 464 in one turn. This makes toxic stalling...
  3. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

Have they ever gotten rid of a move before? If that's possible at all, I hope they get rid of Scald. That was a horrible idea. Or just give it 20 base power with a 0.5% chance to make the opposing Pokemon drunk or whatever. Fuck Scald.
  4. Gen 5 The OU Viability Ranking thread

I really don't see how a Poke like Moltres that can completely wreck anything it wants with Modest Specs Hurricane while also having some useful resistances (Scizor, Breloom, Special Lando, and more can't touch it) is ranked below something like Staraptor, which really just kills something if...
  5. Suggestions

I'd like to see an ignore function during battles like on PO, so you can ignore your opponent and/or spectators. I'm getting tired of having to read random shit about "OP legendaries" and "omg hax".
  6. Creative / Underrated Sets Thread (Read the thread, NO SHITTY GIMMICKS)

Volcarona @ ChestoBerry Trait: Flame Body EVs: 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spd Modest Nature - Quiver Dance - Fire Blast / Fiery Dance - Bug Buzz - Rest This is the best special set-up sweeper in the game, simply because it has the best boosting move for special attackers in the game. Now while...
  7. Show off your funny and/or amazing battles here!

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou5574077 It's funny cause he lost to an NFE team with rain. For some reason, the perspectives always get reversed when I watch a saved replay. Anyway, I have no idea how I got to 1650 with this team, I actually beat a rain team before but this guy was pretty...
  8. Playing with Sand (Peaked #8 on Pokemon Showdown)

Why is Scizor not enough to stop Terrakion? It can't switch into it obviously, but a Bullet Punch will kill it every time. There's nothing that can really take a hit from a +2 Terrakion, the closest thing would be Slowbro which you already have. The best way to kill it is to outspeed it or kill...
  9. Playing with Sand (Peaked #8 on Pokemon Showdown)

A weather team I like! What are the odds? It's a minor change, but since you have Stoutland and now (maybe) Landorus with ice moves, Ice Beam isn't really neccesary on T-Tar. I'd replace it with Rock Slide or Stone Edge for Volcarona, Cloyster, fire types like Ninetales and it lets you hit...
  10. The best of the best!

I approve. Set-Up Sweeper: If Stealth Rocks aren't up and this bitch comes in, you're in trouble. You pretty much have to sacrifice something just to break Multiscale and hope that your opponent only goes for one DD. A +1 Outrage is extremely powerful and just when you think your Heatran can...
  11. Ask a Simple Question, Get a Simple Answer Mark III: Read the FAQ in the Opening Post

Is it possible to put sprites in my signature and if so, how? The only way I know how to do it is with the [ IMG ] thing but that doesn't work.
  12. Hitmonlee

Meh, it's not terrible and it has it's uses, but then again I like using Masquerain in OU so what do I know... Not much of a sweeper in a tier with alternatives like Terrakion, Verizon, Lucario,... and not much of a revenge killer since Technitop is better in pretty much every way.
  13. The WALLS thread!

Milotic is a great special wall and works fantastic with Gliscor. With access to Haze, Dragon Tail, Scald, Recover, Confuse Ray, Hypnosis, Mirror Coat, Magic Coat and Light Screen it has a great support movepool and with it's nice physical bulk it can even serve as a mixed wall. Milotic (F) @...
  14. NU CCAT Step 4: Playtesting

Vileplume @ Life Orb Trait: Chlorophyll EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest/Timid Nature - Sunny Day - SolarBeam - Sludge Bomb - Hidden Power [Fire] Surprisingly powerful. Worked well in Gen 4 since most people expected the Cleric set with Armoatherapy and all that, I haven't played Gen...

  16. Creative (and good) Movesets (READ THE OP FIRST)

Hooooly shit this thing is nice! I broke my honor code and used a rain team for this guy and it's awesome. Although, I did get OHKO'd by a Mach Punch from Hitmonchan...but whatever, I guess that's why it's NU. Edit: Just OHKO'd a Blissey with a +4 Surf. Was a crit but it didn't matter: 252 +4...
  17. Creative (and good) Movesets (READ THE OP FIRST)

Takes out anything that doesn't resist it for the most part. Plus, you can usually get 2 SDs anyway. Most people just expect a Leech Seed set. But yeah, I should really stick to Ninetales/Venusaur/Starmie/Volcarona/Dragonite/Dugtrio so my team can be like every other sun team out there, right...
  18. Creative (and good) Movesets (READ THE OP FIRST)

Jumpluff (M) @ Flight Gem Trait: Chlorophyll EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Substitute - Sleep Powder - Swords Dance - Acrobatics If you ever get tired of using Venusaur in sun, try this thing. Put something to sleep, sub up, boost you attack to a sky-high...
  19. OU CCAT: Nidoking Edition

I'm not saying we should use the least common thing, if that were the case we should go with Choice Specs Unown (not that bad actually) or Banded Delibird. I'm fine with Darmanitan if everybody wants to use it. I was just saying that something like Bisharp is a lot more interresting to use and...
  20. OU CCAT: Nidoking Edition

Whenever I see a Bisharp it's a Sash SR lead or some Iron head bullshit. If I ever see it at all which I usually don't. If we're gonna use the most powerful pokemon, might as well use Banded Haxorus
