  1. v1.6 Dragonitemare: RED Edition

Donphan added, typos fixed, Threatlist skeleton added, pictures added, version changed!
  2. v1.6 Dragonitemare: RED Edition

To be honest, Victini was never a very good choice to begin with. Donphan sounds logical, and I see your point on Heatran. Changed. Thanks for the feedback!

Offensive Threatlist: Tyranitar: Choice Band - Choice Scarf - Dragon Dance - Rotom-W: Choice Scarf / Specs - Support - Scizor: Choice Band - Swords Dance - Bulky Swords Dance - Dragonite: Choice Band - Dragon Dance - Mixed - Parashuffler - Rain Abuse - Politoed: Choice Specs / Scarf -...
  4. v1.6 Dragonitemare: RED Edition

Dragonitemare Red Edition v1.6 WIP. Threatlist, additional pictures, and more coming soon. Yep, it's back. My all-time most successful team is now being reborn in a brand new version. This version takes a shot at using drought successfully with my best buddies Dragonite and Mew. While similar...
  5. Hier Kommt Die Sonne- BW OU Sun Team

No offense, but these would completely destroy his team. -Donphan shouldn't EVER be replaced with dugtrio, especially for the role it serves on the team. Ice Shard is necessesary for its type synergy and as an emergency against Salamence, Gliscor, Dragonite, and such. Donphan also is MUCH...
  6. OU Balanced Rain Team

Yeah, that is true. It looks like you are all set in that department, then. Hope I was of at least a little help! =) PS: Locking Heracross into Pursuit won't be too bad if you use it at the right time. For example, if a Starmie comes in to spin away your entry hazards, you can lock it in for an...
  7. Aw, Hail No! (Peaked 72)

Some things: -I clearly said "and absorbing the blows that it doesn't(some of the above Pokémon can outspeed with certain sets)" after my mention of Salamence getting outsped by Mew. I am aware that Salamence outspeeds when it runs a +Spe, but here's a calculation: Let's assume that Salamence...
  8. OU Balanced Rain Team

Well, Sawsbuck is the most common physical sun attacker, so basically its just a 'just in case warning'. Breloom also, once again, shouldn't really be that big of an issue. I know spore's annoying, but the best thing to do is to just let it get its spore out, and switch to something that can...
  9. Hier Kommt Die Sonne- BW OU Sun Team

Yes, I take German and was aware on what the name meant. Also, I would recommend you don't remove Nature Power. Even though it's just Earthquake, it has the bonus of being considered an 'other' class move, making sucker punch not activate. It also gives the highest type synergy for this team.
  10. OU Balanced Rain Team

Breloom shouldn't give this team trouble, as it is very uncommon to see in the current metagame. I would put Pursuit in the Sleep Talk slot on Heracross. Also, Heracross is NOT a good counter to Sawsbuck, due to its ability; Chlorophyll. Even outside of Sun, a Jolly Sawsbuck will outpace your...
  11. Aw, Hail No! (Peaked 72)

Mew isn't exactly the type of Pokemon you should be sending out against these guys. He's used more as a niche counter. I would check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBqmZXDSz28 if you want ideas on when to use it. I would actually suggest you use BOTH Scizor and Mew.
  12. Hier Kommt Die Sonne- BW OU Sun Team

I would change how the RMT looks a little. There are grammatical and spelling errors(because of the title and the errors throughout, I am going to assume English isn't your main language) and the descriptions might need some tinkering. The colors and large letters are also very distracting. -I...
  13. OU Balanced Rain Team

Some of your descriptions could use a little more thorough explanation, but that's my only complaint. -This team will have a severely hard time with sun teams. The reason is its critical weaknesses to both grass and fire. If your own weather isn't kept up, you could have severe issues with it...
  14. Aw, Hail No! (Peaked 72)

I must say, spinning isn't terribly necessary for Salamence in my opinion. And also, I fail to see how Starmie is any better at handling rain teams. Boosted Hydro Pump? Doesn't matter, as most rain abusers resist water moves and are generally faster than Starmie and hit hard with Thunder...
  15. HeraBOSS v1.5 - Hyper Offensive

It still wouldn't really matter. Roserade is not strong enough to take out Ninetales, especially with the fact that Ninetales can be specially based at times. You're very welcome for the help on your team. Rating teams/posting my own teams is my favorite part of the forums. I thoroughly enjoy...
  16. Aw, Hail No! (Peaked 72)

Stealth Rock-capable Pokemon aren't exactly rare in the current metagame, there are plenty to choose. However, with the current life orb role you have, there really isn't many other ones you can use without giving your team something it doesn't need. I'd keep Azelf, get rid of Starmie. chances...
  17. Aw, Hail No! (Peaked 72)

Things to note : Don't sweat the speed that much. Well-balanced teams with good walls will always surpass weather abusers. The only speed boosting weather you need to worry about in the current metagame is Chlorophyll, which is easily walled by any dragon. Play it smart, and you'll do fine...
  18. What do you think is the most underrated Pokemon in OU? (Read the OP and Post #215)

Sawsbuck and Mew are easily the Pokemon in OU that need more love. Sawsbuck has a movepool not seen by any other grass type, especially with a high-power Earthquake not affected by Sucker Punch. It's ability Chlorophyll allows it to become a very fast threat, and there's also STAB Return, Swords...
  19. Aw, Hail No! (Peaked 72)

Interesting team, but it doesn't look much like a hail team to me. It pretty much looks like Abomasnow is there just to neutralize the opponent's weather advantage so you can sweep. It's a decent strategy, but Abomasnow is a pretty bad candidate for this niche. I would recommend removing it, but...
  20. HeraBOSS v1.5 - Hyper Offensive

I'll have to give it some testing, but Heatran does sound like it would be usable on my team, plus giving some synergy. Thanks! I think I might use HP grass like you said, especially because I already have a reliable ice move in Mew. It also pairs well with Scizor. Though, I am going to keep...
