Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
For VGC, shouldn't Celebrate Ninetales/Eevee evolutions be legal?
Apparently there is an event Vulpix/Eevee obtainable in Sun/Moon with Celebrate.
Thanks

No, in this case Sawsbuck would still be slower on that turn. You would need to Protect with Sawsbuck and wait for the next turn (the first turn selecting moves while the weather is in effect) for it to be faster.
I always found a non-STAB, spread Earthquake from Metagross extremely underwhelming.
Trick and a Choice Band/Scarf is probably under appreciated on Metagross too.
They also look for "irregular patterns", so it isn't based entirely off an arbitrary calculation.
I was disqualified, annoyingly, from the first tournament - but managed to rank in both the last two with less disconnections (I found) overall. I came in the top 16 of Europe in the last one too...
Psych Up doesn't "swap" the stats, it copies them.
Using Belly Drum when you're at +6 fails in game, so it shouldn't take another 50%.
When a Pokémon is Encored into Protect, the Protect is used at neural Priority, as is Trick Room, strangely.
If I was you, I'd build a team without Chlorophyll Venusaur; you'll never be able to know 100% if any you get is legal or not - and you don't want to turn up to an event and get told you can't use it.
Mental Herb is supposed to stop Encore. When Encore is used on something with Mental Herb, it activates and says the effects have worn off - but they don't seem to.
