Sorry for the delay in getting these stats posted this month. I've been heads down coding on a couple of different other Smogon projects, and I really want to get those completed as soon as possible. As such, I kept putting off gathering the monthly server stats. I kept thinking I had "just one more thing to do" on the other projects, which is never the case when it comes to programming! Just when you think something is finished, you find something unexpected that extends the work even further. I finally had to pry myself away from the other stuff and get these stats out. But, with any luck, you'll see the results of all my hard work on these other projects very soon.
I have not spent any time digesting the stats this month, so I look forward to the commentary in this thread. I'm still a stat-junkie at heart, but I don't have much time to get my fix this month. Somebody give me some good Cliff's Notes, please!
These stats were gathered from 537,447 individual battles that were fought during the month of August on the Smogon Shoddy Battle Server. Usage and Leads are listed in the posts directly below this one. I omitted the Suspect stats, since there was no appreciable Suspect testing this month.
