@undisput3d - Damned won because they could kill afro (the mayor) and kidnap another villager the next night, and hook you so that you couldn't kill one of the Damned. They then couldn't be outvoted, and if there had been a tied lynch it would've meant that neither person got lynched.
I agree that they possibly couldn't have won without you though, you definitely did help them quite a lot. I was really hoping that you would pull through for the win in the end, and you were definitely in with a shot for a long time.
