I have started my leaf green challenge :)
I haven't had too many troubles so far and no casualties. I am currently at the beginning of Mt Moon. with:
Vinyl the Ivysaur, lvl 16
Bozo the Mankey, lvl 16
Blink the Butterfree, lvl 14
Unfortunately, all my pokemon are weak to flying, so my rival's pidgeotto may be hard. However Mankey does know rock tomb. I wanted a Geodude in Mt moon but instead got a lvl 7 zubat. I also knocked out a pidgey on the route before mt moon due to a crit so i couldn't catch it, and on route 2 I accidently killed a Ratata. Obviously I'm crap at catching pokemon :(

EDIT: What is everyone's opinions on items? Do you ban items? If so, which ones do you ban. Do you only use items that are bought or do you use any?
